What's new

Do you give them a call if you're the FO?

I'm not convinced LeBron could step into this team environment and suddenly 'be cool' with being in a system. Of course, he's been dropping hints that he doesn't want to be so ball dominate all the time... this could work out REALLY well for him if he wanted to put in a little work. Plus, he gets through the West and it's basically a guaranteed 'ship.

PG on the other hand isn't winning anything in his career unless he: A) goes East or B) signs with us, Houston, or GS. I also think he'd thrive here but you might have a logjam with Ingles unless Quin goes primarily small ball.

I could see PG fitting here very well. He could start and Ingles come off the bench. That gives both our starting 5 and our bench a strong boost. Also you could play them together in a crazy small ball lineup, something like Rubio/DM/PG/Ingles/Favors. All kinds of scoring there and playmaking galore. The more I consider it the more I would love to see PG on our team. If he isn't expected to be the man I think he wouldn't fade like he did. I think partly the pressure of it can get to him, but playing alongside a DM and a very unselfish group of guys he would flourish. Look at all the contested shots he took in the series against us. Give him as many open looks as our offense generates and he would be in heaven. That makes us instant contenders and maybe even approaching favorites depending on the supporting cast.

It has more to do with avoiding the mentality of "she ain't going out with me so I ain't even gonna ask." If you walk into something thinking someone out of your league won't give you the time of day because they're out of your league, you'll be right 10 times out of 10.

I remember going out to lunch with a co-worker when I was about 24. A smoking hot 10 that went to college with me (but we didn't know each other) was waiting on me. As I left, I asked her out. She said she had a boyfriend.

****.

But I am glad I tried.

I had a friend that would ask out every gorgeous girl he saw. He was rejected 99% of the time but guess what? He always had a hot date every weekend. Just takes one to say yes.

Yep. That's what you have to do. I usually didn't. Wish I did.

My go to move was get drunk at a club, start dancing with some girl for about 5 seconds, quickly change it to grinding, and then begin making out just another 5 seconds later. No skill really. Just drunken shenanigans.

Me asking a drop dead gorgeous 10/10 babe is like asking LBJ to take the veterans to come here minimum lol

I mean, why not? I could see PG going for it. At the least, it raises the team’s profile with free agents.

My only concern would be the money, and George thinking it’s “his team.” He’d have the same role as he does with OKC, except the star will actually pass to him.

If it was me, I’d sell him on having the role Andre Igoudala does on the Warriors. Or Durant I guess. Plus we have great fishing here
