Following Potential 2018 Draftees

You deflected from my point. The discussion when I made my comment was around waiting 2 years for a player to emerge. And even with Hayward, my statement still rings true - "A majority of teams don't care about the length of the project as long as the project is worth it."

We took Hayward because we knew he could become a good NBA player. We took him over guys with shorter ceilings but who were more NBA ready right away.
Hayward was NBA ready from the start lmao. He dropped a 34 point game his rookie year.

Both The Stepien and NBADraft.net report him to have a 6-8 wingspan. Some sources say he's 6'2, others say 6'3.

1000% in... the arms look long so that matches the eye test. He's also looks pretty thick (in a good way). I like my guards like Cy likes his women.

I like Okobo 100 times more than Simons.

****, I may be on board with Okobo too.

I think he'd be the only guy I'd try and move into the teens to take if DL is convinced.

I like a lot of the other guys, but I'm not personally convinced KBD is a whole lot better prospect than Josh Okogie... so give me one or the other and I'm cool. I like Okobo more than that.

Do you guys ever think of a comparison while watching a prospect and the comparison just feels dead on to you?

I felt that way last year about Lauri Markkanen. I kept seeing him get Dirk and Kristaps comparisons. But I felt like he was extremely similar to Memo Okur. I feel like that has been pretty accurate.

This year I got one that feels accurate for Marvin Bagley. People are comparing him to AD, Garnett, Bosh. I see him being similar to K-Mart, Kenyon Martin.

I just have a feeling okobo is going to be that rookie, like Mitchell and kuzma, who is dropping 30 in multiple SL games and everybody will be wishing he was their rookie.
