Jazz draft all depends on the Timberwolves

Regardless who the Cavs take #1 either Irving or Williams, the Jazz draft all depends on who the Timberwolves take at #2. In my book the draft's top three will come out in one of these four possibilities:

1. Cavs - Kyrie Irving
2. T-Wolves - Derrick Williams
3. Jazz - Brandon Knight

1. Cavs - Kyrie Irving
2. T-Wolves - Derrick Williams
3. Jazz - Enes Kanter

1. Cavs - Kyrie Irving
2. T-Wolves - Enes Kanter
3. Jazz - Derrick Williams

2. T-Wolves - Enes Kanter
3. Jazz - Kyrie Irving

I do not think that the Timberwolves will take Irving if he is available at #2, they finally got Ricky Rubio to come over, they have said they want a big man, and their owner says they will keep the pick. It really comes down to who fits with the Timberwolves the best between Williams and Kanter and who fills a bigger need. If Cleveland takes Williams then I would assume Minnesota would take Kanter because they do not want to make Rubio mad by taking another point guard and because their owner does not want to trade the pick meaning they would not take Irving then trade him. A front-court of Love and Kanter would be very nice for Minnesota and they have Beasley so there is no need to take Williams and trade Beasley. All in all the easiest thing for the Timberwolves to do is take Enes kanter with the #2 pick.

My dream scenario is either Kyrie Irving or Derrick Williams fall to the Jazz at #3 which is very possible. I have faith in the Jazz because history is on our side because the Jazz have come out with an all-star both times they have had the #3 pick (Dominic Wilkins and Deron Williams) even though Wilkins never played for the Jazz.

Trust me they will have a trade in place in the event Irving falls to 2. There is 0% Irving is available.

Drafting behind the Wolfs has to be the worst. Luckily I don't think KOC concerns himself with what Minny might do as much as he is concerned about ranking players on his own draft board. Control what you can control and don't worry about what you can't.

I agree with that, but I still think it would be nice to swap spots with Minny so Utah could land Kanter if he end's up being "The Guy". If Minny likes Kanter and Williams, why not drop back one spot and add a little something in the process?

absolutely stunning analytical pwr cumin at u frm this chap. ths site is flipping sucking, man. i'll bet you one thing, millsap uses a step ladder in his pantry, cuz he's too damn short, and Irving is also the name of a novelist, and Kanter likes eskimos.

Bets on the 'other' screenname?

I'd still trade the number 3 for beasly, Flynn and the 20th pick. Minnesota gets Williams , kanter or even better number 3 pick for Flynn, Randolph and the 20th pick. Then draft Singleton at 12 and best player avble at 20. Wouldn't favor!s, Jefferson,Randolph be a fun big man rotation

Oh noo.. I hope you're being sarcastic!

Miami basically threw away Beasly last season, Flynn is a flop, and the 20th pick?? And Randolph? He's the NBA's invisible man - now you see him, now you don't!

I really think if Randolph had a solid bigman mentor, he would be worth the gamble. Jefferson, Millsap, Memo, Maybe Karl Malone. Teach him to play in the paint and not shoot 3 point shots

all i gotta say, what a terrible draft to get number 3.... oh wait, thank you captain obvious.
