Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I'm not confident at all that Troy Brown is going to last in this draft past 16 or 17.

If we passively sit at 21, I think we're looking at KBD, Huerter, Okobo or Simons. Maybe the Jazz roll the dice on Frazier.
I'd be pretty shocked if the Suns took him. They have a lot of wings who cant shoot already (Warren and Jackson). I bet they try to go for a more traditional PG at 16. Okobo, Brunson, Holiday (he's already had 2 workouts for Phoenix), Sexton, and Shai G-A. I bet it's one of those 5.

Bucks consistently draft on potential, so I could see them ignoring fit/needs and going for Brown.

Things change, but man I can't believe Sacramento would pass on Doncic... oh wait... I totally believe that.

People sleeping on Miles Bridges imo.

I don't get the Aaron Holiday love.

Huerter is fine but if Okobo is there I'd be a bit disappointed that we took him.
Holiday was a really good shooter in college and he has decent length + pedigree.

Honestly, some of you guys are doing a good job selling Brown. Seems like he might be pretty good.

I'm still not 100% sold on any certain guy. Feel like we aren't going to pick at #21 anyway.

There are a lot of guys I like at 21 mostly because there isn't one that sticks out. We are picking at 21 so most likely their playing time is going to be limited considering our current roster. My best hope we find a guy who can get 10-15 minutes off the bench. So I am trying to lower my expectations so I don't get too up or down. I am ready for the draft to be here.

Okobo could become the PGOTF. He wouldn't be the 3rd guard. Also, the Jazz might play Exum off the ball as much as on the ball.

Okobo has combo guard skills. He has the potential to play either guard spot. I definitely think the Jazz will have interest in a player like that. I just don't think they'll have an interest in a pure point guard at 21 like Jalen Brunson or Jevon Carter.

Check out his passes. You can't teach this passing ability. One handed, behind the back, no look, several full court on the money, great timing. I am loving Troy's passing skill for his size.

Brown’s also got a really good physique for a frosh. Like, he could be completely jacked in just a couple years.

If they take Ayton I would bet they take a PG with 16... you named the likely cast in your post.

There are enough teams that I think would love to have Brown from 12-20 that I really don’t think he’s there.

Exum has better speed and tools, but Brown seems to see things ahead of time and has interior game that Exum doesn't. I think Brown can learn all the skills of his position.

Maybe we can get a pick from the Clippers somehow? Oh well, Troy is moving up the boards too much. It was a nice fantasy.

I don’t see Brown and Exum as very similar.

Brown can improve his shooting... at 21 all these guys are gonna have flaws (hell at 1-2 they have flaws)... it’s just a matter of how fixable those things are.

Their frames are similiar and that is it. Brown seems more skilled than Exum. I think he has a higher ceiling. The only thing Exum has on him is footspeed. Not decision making, not shooting, nothing really. I think Brown will be a better player if he lands in a good team with a system.

I think Brown is Thicccc doe... Exum is wiry. Brown a 3/4 and Exum a pg or wing. I don’t see it really at all but what do I know.

If Okobo was there I think I’d want him over Huerter. But I am intrigued by Hueters fit and potential on our team.
