Pre-draft workouts

That's pretty big the Jazz got Simons in, I believe he will be drafted long before 21. That tells me DL may have some phone calls lined up to work some magic.

Probably got Simons in due to his friendship with Donovan. Ive seen him mocked in the teens or after the Jazz pick. He's all over the place.

If the Jazz get a guy like Kevin Knox, Robert Williams or Lonnie Walker in, it means they likely have a deal to move up. Anfernee Simons isn't really a guy that signals we have a deal on the table.

Has Giannis little brother Kostas worked out for the Jazz yet? I think he has good potential and wouldn't mind if the Jazz grabbed him in the 2nd rd at 52. Low risk big reward possibly, I see him running with Mitchell quite well.

Pretty much all these guys working out for the Jazz have also worked out for the Blazers (24). The Jazz haven't overachieved on getting high-level prospects in. The highest level guy they've brought in has been Troy Brown, who has worked out with Zhaire Smith for Clippers at 12 & 13.

BTW, a writer for Sports Illustrated is saying that Kevin Huerter is turning down teams drafting in the mid-20s. This is one of the reasons they were speculating that he has a promise with the Jazz.

It's quite BS with all this "promise" bulls**t with nba team these days. Why would the Jazz give promises to players they haven't worked out for yet? KH somewhat scares me, looks like a RJ Hunter player to me. KBD is not an exciting pick at all. I wasn't too impress with his highlight videos. He's just like the matured ver. of Trey Lyles.

Hope he is better than the oldest brother.

It feels like the Jazz have gotten most of the guys at 21 already.

Still have to get Evans, Huerter, Okogie, Robinson, and Musa. Those seem to be the last 5 who are mocked around 21 the Jazz havent gotten yet.

I really don't see a lot of upside with the Huerter pick AT ALL. Shouldn't we be trying to hit it out of the park with the 21st pick?

Ok I take that back, just saw a video of him doing a number of things off the dribble, he could play a bit. Still lukewarm on him though.
