Sportando: Utah Jazz eyeing Nemanja Bjelica

I know people like to hate on Swedish Swish, but his FG% was .466 and he shot .414 from three this past season.

Bjelica shot .461 from the field and .415 from three.

Insanely similar stats. They're both the same height and weight as well (OK - according to ESPN JJ has 1 single pound over him - 231 VS 230).

Point is, eerily similar stats for a stretch-4.

But Bjelica can fill it up from deeeeep Jonas is far better from the corners

Wasn't that terrible record against one of the toughest stretches of games for any team in the NBA last year though? I'm fairly certain it was.
Yep, that's exactly what I brought up elsewhere. Jazz MAY have won 2-4 games more with a healthy Gobert. Having Gobert not only improves the starting lineup, but means Favs is playing backup 5 instead of Udoh.

But everyone acts like it's a done deal with Bjelica. I think we have to offer him the full MLE to get him to sign an offer sheet with us and for Minnesota not to match. The TWolves could conceivably match and still stay under the tax (or make a minor move to get there). Then they have some salaries falling off after next season. If a number of other teams are interested, can't they match and then trade him...not to the team that signs him to an offer, but to another team?

I'll bet a Snyder offense gets Bjelica better shots than Thibs got him.

Healthy gallinari vs Bjelica. In comparison of their all around game is gallinari way better or are they somewhat comparable with gallinari getting the slight edge?
@cy @Handlogtens Heroes @Ellis269 or anyone else who watches lots of non jazz nba.

Yeah, but when you look at them, you can just tell Bjelica is much more talented.

Gallinari healthy is considerably better. It's just he's never healthy
