Pre-draft workouts

Musa is interesting. Jazz need more foreign players. But we're neglecting the huge market in China.

Musa made workout with the Pacers. I mean if the Jazz were interested by him, he would already make a workout for the Jazz. I don't really know what to think about this kid. He looks good on offense but im scared about his FT%, his 3p%, his defense and his mindset. Not sure he will fit well with the jazz. I will take KDB, Donte, Okobo, Huerter over him.

He is working out with the Jazz. These things take time. They only work out 6 prospects at a time and there are 29 other teams trying to schedule these things.

I dont think fans appreciate how difficult scheduling these things are.

Plus his season ended late. I think he's only working out for a handful of teams, so that shows some respect for the Jazz.

You know, every time I look up highlights of guys in the ACC, like Jerome Robinson, Gary Trent Jr. and Josh Okogie, they're always lighting up Miami and Lonnie Walker. In these particular clips, Walker doesn't look entirely engaged either offensively or defensively, but he kind of floats around. There's a chance we'll look back on this draft and see that Robinson and Okogie were much more impactful than Walker.

It's getting to the point where I'm not 100% sure that Walker is an elite prospect. He sure looks that way in workouts, but he needs to get engaged more in actual games. He fades in and out.

One guy on Sixers podcast today said Okobo is God awful on defense and that in the NBA, he’ll always be thee worst defender on the court. Like easily.

And keep in mind he doesn’t play in a great league either. Someone (Franschilla I think) ranked it as the 7th best league in the world.

Not sure if anyone saw the advanced metrics rankings of draftees on ESPN.com yesterday. Okobo was like 64th I wanna say.

That might be a concern.

Damn, a guy on a Sixers podcast said that? Must be true, guys on sixers podcast are always right.
