Following Potential 2018 Draftees

That would fit in to the game thread where LaVar buys the Jazz and turns them into LaVar’s Balls. This would be the first step in that direction.
"With the 52nd pick in the NBA draft the Utah Jazz select LiAngelo Ball."

Later that day, the Jazz announce the sale of the team to a group led by Lavar and Steve Wynn. Jazz will become the Las Vegas Ballers in time for the 2019/20 season, In unveiling the uniforms, Lavar naturally claims the "LV" stands for his name. LV Baller brand shoes immediately go on sale for $999.

That is a horrible trade.
After this, I thought you were gonna say because they should stagger the 1st rd picks in 2021 and 2023 so they can draft LaMelo in 2020.

Once that trio is complete then you begin acquiring Holiday brothers = championship

Dakota Mathias gets no hype around here. He apparently broke one of Toronto's workout records for 3pointers and recorded a 35" 1-step vert.

PPL would LOVE him as the 2nd rd pick, would be solid value at that low of a spot too tbh.

He's 6'5 and has good defensive instincts, and is all around efficient player, one of the unsung hero's of college last szn really, underappreciated on that very good purdue team which was loaded.

Okay, I realize that Troy Brown has some flaws and I have soured on him. But I find this observation intriguing. Maybe, he is the Tony Robbins of basketball. Set challenges and overcomes them and an undeniably positive influence. Maybe that is an underrated trait and because of his attitude he would get better without undercutting anyone.

I remember seeing Troy Brown videos like this around the time we were investigating Dante Exum HS footage in 2015..

and thinking... This kid looks like a lotto pick.. His passing instincts were really quite advanced.

****ing Errol Spence 1st rd KO.. lol.. what a joke

After the Lonzo post, I can’t take anything you say seriously.

I highly doubt it's wrong. He fits how the Bulls usually draft. Bulls are famous for being super cheap and having one of the smallest scouting staffs in the NBA. They regularly going after 4 year college guys too.

Hutchison could also be going to Portland. The Blazers need a scoring SF in their starting unit.

I'm confident that Portland made the promise, not Chicago. Chicago has two 1st round picks, a ton of cap space, and several roster building options. It makes zero sense that they would promise ANYONE that far in advance of the draft when they have so many options. Portland is over the cap, nearing the tax, has limited trade and free agency options, needs a SF desperately, and only has one pick in the draft. They are in a position to zero in on a certain player early in the process. And to top it off Hutchison is good friends with Dame. It's super obvious that it was Portland. Idk why people are sure it was Chicago.

Nice logic, good post.

Not to mention that Hutchin has the same trainer that trained Dame at Webber State.

Because Chicago has a long track record of drafting 4 year college players and making draft promises.

No

None of that makes sense why it would be Portland. There are a ton of wings in this draft, they don't need to promise anyone.

This is the Bulls 100&

The Bulls didn't even go to the Global Camp because it cost 10K dollars. They got the smallest scouting staff in the NBA. It makes way more sense that an understaffed crew would favor 4 year college players and make promises to them to save time and money.

It’s chicago... as soon as pick 20 is made we should call them and tell them we are taking him and see how many other guys they have scouted... wonder what they’d give... maybe just a second rounder. I’m sure we wouldn’t eff around but it would be kinda fun.

So who have they promised at 7 in order to save money? And why haven't we heard about it?
