Other player was probably Musa or Okobo. DL phrased it as if it was a player who was also available at 21 and they were choosing Allen or ____.
My guess on the two teams trying to move up ahead of the Jazz for Allen is Celtics and Warriors. Grayson had a great workout with Boston, Ainge reportedly loved him, there's the Tatum/Grayson connection. The Warriors is more of a gut feeling. I feel like Grayson is the kind of scrappy player they would like on their bench. They also fit "good team" better than other teams who were picking 22-30. Could have also been Philly or LA. Grayson had a good workout for LA too.

This makes me tend to think we were down to Allen and Hutchison.

Wasn't a fan of CH. If that's the case, I'm glad we chose Allen over him.
Personally, I think it's likely that Anfernee Simons is going to be better than Grayson Allen longer term, but I guess that's neither here nor there.

I wouldn't have minded Hutchison, but I think Allen's shooting is gonna help us more. And I think the Jazz FO felt the same way. They seemed really relieved that Allen fell to us.

There was a rumor before the draft that Indiana was trying to move up to 19 or 20.
