No I'm referring to a real life cinderella story.
Man, have you guys been living under a rock?
Why would I (or anyone else) watch a wedding of someone I dont know from some other country. I hate going to weddings of people I like and know.
Also why are they a comparison for an sports underdog? Did they qualify for the Olympics together in synchronized swimming and no one thought they had a chance?
Well for one thing Meghan is American.
It's not about 'qualifying' for something. The Jazz can't 'qualify' for LeBron's service. He'll have to choose us. The same way Harry chose Meghan even though she isn't of royal lineage.
Fair enough. Still an odd analogy on a sports message board but I guess it makes sense. But not as odd as following the wedding of strangers.
If you think this analogy is odd... wayyy before your time guys were making analogies about basketball and akinning it to The Bachelor and receiving a rose at the the rose ceremony, ... being the sole survivor on Survivors .... etc.

Although those are TV shows that I dont watch but I understand why people would watch a TV show and make comparisons. I dont understand watching or caring about a wedding of some strangers who are not of importance besides empty titles. They are just rich folks that are useless. After looking it up as well I would not call that an underdog story either. Those dudes married women way out of their league but it evens out I guess because they are rich.
So in your analogy are we the ugly red head dudes with money and Lebron is the attractive woman or the other way around?
Hmm.. you don't think Prince Harry marrying Meghan is a cinderella story? There is a reason Meghan immediately quits her popular TV show Suits once she got engaged...
Also I don't know if Meghan is rich but don't think she's in the same League or even the same Universe compared with the Royal Family.
