The Lakers are in need of a point guard to take Fishers place in the starting line-up.
The below from hoopsworld started me thinking, thats bad I know.
Other names that might be at least in the ballpark for Odom could be Raymond Felton, Tony Parker and/or Devin Harris. Some out of reach would probably include Andre Iguodala and Monta Ellis.
It's difficult to gauge other team's true needs and how willing they are to move their guards. Felton is behind Ty Lawson in Denver. The Spurs have George Hill progressing and may need a versatile big like Odom. The Jazz are in flux. If they draft one of the top point guards with their number three pick, perhaps Harris' stay in Utah could be short.

The ESPN trade machine had Devin Harris from Utah for Lamar Odom of the Lakers as a successful trade.

Of course no way the Lakers do this trade straight up as it gives us 6 more estimated wins for the season and them 6 less wins, so we would have to sweeten the pot.
Again think outside the box for a minute. Odom can play power forward and small forward. He won the sixth man award already (shows he puts the team first), plays good perimeter and interior defense, can handle the ball like a guard, is great in transition and can hit the 3 point shot. Could you see Odom playing small forward for the Jazz? If so, it would be Jefferson at center, Favors at power forward and Odom at small forward.
Could you see him playing power forward next to Favors at center? If so, we could trade Jefferson or Millsap for a small forward, or keep them and get our small forward with next years Golden State pick.
Many posters have said we should not get to many young players on the team at once, so this gives us some championship experience to go along with our young players.
Since there are questions about whether Williams is a small forward and questions about Kanter in general, would getting a known winner like Odom be better? Is Odom worth Harris and our 3rd pick? If the Lakers did not like Harris, they could take Knight with the 3rd pick and later trade Harris.
With Jimmer at point guard with our 12th pick, he would not need to play great defense immediately with a big three of Jefferson, Favors and Odom playing behind him.
Starting line-up:
Jimmer/Watson - point guard
Hayward - shooting guard
Odom - small forward
Favors - power forward
Jefferson - center
I can see Jimmer, Hayward and Odom raining 3s and it opening up the inside for Jefferson and Favors.
I would like Millsap to be our sixth man award winner, and get the best player available or fill a need with the Golder State pick next year.
Ok tell me what you think and if you like it rep me. If you don't like it, well whatever I tried.
