Yup, no decision is the same as guaranteeing the contract.

But wait until after December and Utah could send Burks, Thabo and Jerebko (or Udoh) + their 2019 first. That gets Cleveland out from under an additional year of Love's salary.

Just wondering, why december? They beauty of trading those contracts now is that the team that trades for them can just waive the players right away. the team can create more cap space or get out of the luxury tax. Thus, a contract like Thabo's could save a team 10M in luxury tax (or even more). They are worth more now.
