The kid just gets it. He understands who he is in the community, and his influence. This state, SLC, the Jazz, we as fans are all so lucky to have such an impactful role model here. He’s been here 1 year......1 year....and he’s endeared himself more than almost any player that ever played here, in fact he probably has more than anyone. You simply don’t get someone better than Donovan.

Showing up for no other reason than to show himself.

Basketball camp

And a shoutout to Royce O’Neale and Ekpe Udoh who also dropped by. The Jazz have some amazing guys on this team and in the community.

I love Ekpe. Great dude. Hope he sticks around for one more year.

Yes, and in October last year, I said barring injury he'd be the greatest player in Jazz history ... still has a ways to go but he's on his way. Numby who is on a self-ban excoriated me for that, pointing out that a lot of people were already on the DM bandwagon then, but I don't think nearly so much as that -- except maybe Str8line. Even John Stockton said in a recent interview that he wasn't so sure about Donovan until a few months into the season.

You're still going on about that? lmao.

Yeah, there were Donovan homers on here (including myself) before he was even drafted by the Jazz.

Yes, bcuz I took so much crap for that -- well, maybe I overreacted because Archie was giving me a neg every time -- seriously, every time I posted anything about Donovan, going on about how he can't shoot, etc, and then Numberica jumped on that bandwagon, saying the same as Spycam1 that there were lots of people who liked him when he was drafted.

He's young, single and having the time of his life. Cool that he recognizes the stoke he can bring people. Love his quote about how excited he would be when he was younger if his hero showed up.

Im pretty sure you just put yourself ahead of THE GREAT JOHN STOCKTON as a judge of NBA talent. Im sure that's not gonna get discussed this season.

Talk about making a rod for your own back...

Not at all -- just my intuition and I do have a gift for intuition. I could describe a number of situations in my life that this has occurred and they have nothing to do with basketball.

Such an attention whore... he should be in the damn gym working! (sarcasm)
