Jazz end partnership with Papa John's

dominoes is trash . I worked there part time like 10 hours a week driving a few years ago. My kids were teenagers and always with friends but anyway they save the cheese that falls into the little pit on the line. They literally pick out the sausage onion whatever and reuse
The cheese and that's not just a local thing because I asked about it because my buddy kid was manager and he showed me in the book how that's a dominoes thing. Never ate there after that. Papa John's was good pizza, but I'll never buy it again I hate racism since I have biracial children, who are half ape according to Papa John so F him and Dominoes too support a local family owned business instead. Might pay a little more but the quality will be much better
Wait... I think I missed something.

The story as I understand it is that John whatever his name is, was on a conference call and said that Colonel Sanders called black people "N-Word." Now I never got the context of that, why he mentioned what a fictional marketing character said, but I thought that was the extent of the issue. Does he have a history of saying racist stuff?

Don't they support a whole bunch of conservative lobby groups?

I don't equate "conservative" with being racist, and I don't dislike conservatives.

Don't let that confuse you with the fact that I absolutely have a white hot burning hatred for Donald Trump. I'm "Trump Derangement Syndrome" patient zero. If I was left in a room alone with that POS he wouldn't leave alive.

The problem is that most conservative politicians are far too willing to dog whistle to racists for their vote, which to me is just as bad. The hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy of most of them is appalling.

That is a thing that is happening, but not a thing that is inherent in being a conservative. Donald Trump is the Pied Piper of racists. He saw an opportunity to play it up for people who shared his antiquated views on race and he has gone far with that. It makes me sad for my nation, which I served in uniform and was 100% willing to die for. I'm disgusted that so many see this as a private club and not a land of opportunity for anyone who is willing to embrace the challenge. I never would have served for the people who support Trump. I'm anxious for them to die off.

But conservatism is not in and of itself evil. It has a place in the U.S. and can regain it's integrity and validity once it abandons the anti-immigrant, anti-minority track it has wandered onto.

No, that's pretty much the gist of what happened. That means he must be destroyed or something. Seriously about 5% of the people calling for his head even know what he actually said. We are living through the moronic years. . .

Also, Colonel Sanders was a real dude, not just a marketing campaign.

I like the Wombo Combo at Round Table.

Have to say I've gone from loving pizza to hating most. Little C's, Domino's, Pizza Hut...everything tastes bland or artificial. If I get the craving for a pizza, a lot of times I will buy a generic pepperoni (or even cheese), bring it home and add on my own toppings (mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc) that I've bought fresh in the produce aisle. Is it a pain the *** to do that? Yes. Does it make the pizza 100% better. Hell, yeah. But as I mentioned, I no longer like most commercial pizza.

I probably should just use my own crust and experiment with some sauce. Tried a few, but didn't really like.

As for Schnatter, he's been on the hit list since his comments about NFL players kneeling for the anthem. Any controversial comment was going to get him ousted. But seriously, why would you bring this stuff up in a media training session on race?

On the May call, Schnatter reportedly said the N-word while complaining that a legendary fast-food chain founder had used the word in the past without being subjected to public backlash. He also reflected on his childhood in Indiana, saying people used to drag African-Americans from trucks until they died, according to Forbes.

First off, it's important to know that Colonel Sanders was actually a real person.

Schnatter, or whatever his name is, was complaining on a conference call with his marketing people that he doesn't get to call black people n****rs. Basically, he doesn't think it's fair that he can't treat black people the same way they were treated in the '50s.

I'm not that aware of any specifically racist comments he has made previously, although it's probably part and parcel of his stance on the NFL players kneeling.

I used to make my own crust in a breadmaker, I just used an herb dough mix and added some cheese to it. Some decent sauce (I think I usually used the Bertolli marinara with burgundy). mix up some mozzarella and cheddar, good toppings... so much better than any but the best pizzerias.

It's more than that. The conference call was arranged for him to so he could stop being a racist douchebag. Literally, that's why they had it. There's also comments he made regarding the ACA where he was against it because the cost of health care coverage would "add about 10 to 14 cents per Pizza". I get being for or against "Obamacare" for whatever reason, fine. But if adding a dime per pizza is enough to break your will so that you won't offer your employees healthcare insurance, you have some serious financial problems or are just a twit.

This isn't even remotely true.

I'm going to need documentation on the "The conference call was arranged for him to so he could stop being a racist douchebag" and Huffington Post isn't going to cut it.

But yeah, let's be honest, his fighting Obamacare and opposing players kneeling during the national anthem was the REAL reason he was targeted. The other stuff was pretty ginned up.

I don't get why companies never got out in front of this and use it as an advertising tool. I'd love to see a hotel chain add a $2.00 cleaning surcharge and give 100% to the employees in addition to their regular wages. Advertise cleaner rooms because the employees are paid 3x industry average so they care that much more. $10.14 per pizza instead of $10? Who wouldn't be happy to pay?

Had Little C’s yesterday. Can’t beat a pepperoni pizza for $5.41 after tax. Was great.
I'll occasionally eat a slice of Pizza at Costco when I'm there. It's hard to beat their price. And for some reason, it doesn't taste that bad at the store. I've bought some to go and they're always undercooked.

Decided to give Little C's another chance as I had an appt right next to one of their locations. Bought two smalls for variety. Threw both away after trying a slice of each. Worst pizza I've ever had. Or maybe that was the last pizza I had from Dominos.
