Everyone seems to be off the Knight bandwagon. Good, we are making progress.

I'm not. I'm just torn between Kanter and Knight. To me it's a toss up. So if we can draft BPA (Kanter I would think), then trade down swapping said pick for Knight, and in the process get additional pick(s), I'm all for it.

Not really possible because Toronto would swoop up Knight at 5 and have no extra picks (except a second round one). They may offer a protected future 1st, but it would take forever to collect as bad as they are.

And if you ultimately want Knight, then you still get your guy, plus whatever it is they give you.

Also, there ARE other players in this draft. If KOC is omniscient about whose going to draft who, he'll know what to do.

I wasn't aware Toronto already committed to Knight. Good to know.

Williams and Jimmer is not too far-fetched.

If Cleveland takes Kanter, Minny would probably entertain some very good offers for their #2 pick. Then Jazz are left choosing between Williams and Knight. Gotta believe if they're closely ranked on the draft board, KOC takes DWill because SF is a position of DIRE need. Assuming Hayward plays SG and AK is not re-signed, that leaves only CJ and Evans on the roster at SF.

Cavs probably take Knight. If Sacramento doesn't take Jimmer, he'd probably be there at #12. And the Jazz would be crazy NOT to draft him. I don;t see him as a "novelty player." That was Toolson and an aging Chambers. Can Jimmer eventually be a starter? IMO, he is - at worst - a legit backup PG and a guy to bring in late when you need 3-pt shooters on the floor. And season ticket sales immediately increase by 20%. Jimmer jerseys fly off the shelves. Add a tie and I think the LDS Church would even allow Fredette uniforms in Sunday meetings ;-)

If I were KOC - I'd give Cavs a call and say the following:

"Alright - you can have 1 (potentially) great player in Irving, or you can have 2 (potentially) very good players in Kanter & Knight. Tell you what why don't you do this:

- Pick Kanter at #1
- Minny will surely take Irving at #2 and trade
- Jazz will guarantee to take DWill at #3

Then

- You are guaranteed Knight at #4.

We get what we want (DWill_2) and you get what you want (Kanter & Knight), everyone's happy."

I'll have to vote "Other" because it's going to be Jazz-Nets in the Finals.

A healthy Williams + Lopez, with Humphries doing the dirty work on the boards is not a bad foundation. Prokhorov is going to make another acquisition; you know it. Not enough to raise them to championship level, but they'll be a mid-level playoff team in the Eastern Conference and could put up a good fight.

A ton of mocks have Irving going #1 and Kanter falling to #4. So why would Cleveland essentially want to swap Irving for Knight?
