The rule changes will affect the jazz just as much as it will affect the other 29 teams. Don’t be an idiot!!- the shotclock on offensive rebounds will reset to 14 seconds, no longer 24.
- clear path fouls will now be judgement calls.
Yes, because rule changes always effect each team exactly equally. Come in from bizzaro world. The rule changes will affect the jazz just as much as it will affect the other 29 teams. Don’t be an idiot!!

I think you are correct... Now it sounds like they are changing that and going back to judgement calls? My understanding was that clear path foul definitions had been clarified to remove the judgement calls.

There's no reason to change the shot clock from 24 to 14 on an offensive rebound. Nine times out of ten an offensive rebound results in a quick possession anyway. It didn't need to be changed. It's a change for the sake of change.
Disagree with this. This rule will especially change the way close games are played in the 4th quarter, when teams are trying to run out the clock. Gives the team that's down more opportunity to make a comeback, and will make the game a little more entertaining than having to watch guys dribble out the clock.
As for the clear path foul, I'll have to wait and see how the refs handle it. It might not change much at all, as we've seen the league supposedly change a rule and then not really call it like they said they would.
My way of saying this doesn’t hurt the jazz at all, and seems all teams need to adjust, but rarely did it seem like the jazz needed much more then that 14 seconds after an offensive rebound, usually turned into an open three. When I heard about the new rule and read what it was about, I thought is that all no problem
