You guys realize the serious drawback if Allen breaks out this year, right?

Everyone already knows I dislike Boler as a commentator due to that thread from last year but it's worth repeating: Boler's lousiness is solely caused by his own sheer unethusiastic laziness. The guy does not try to get better and improve his craft. He's an excellent knowledgeable football homer commentator/analyst that refuses to get better at his main gig because he doesn't have the passion for it. He's been munchin' on the mild mannered Miller meal-ticket for too long. He needs to be locked in the dungeon with Steve Brown.

Well i have some great news for ya! Locke announces all the jazz games too and he has tons of passion. Pretty simple solution to your problem would be to listen to the radio while watching the game.

That would be a great problem to have. And Boler is better than most. No problem with Boler whatsoever.

I tried that with Hot Rod. It worked at first, but after a while he needed three flasks. Dude was an animal.

I have no problem with Boler when I listen to the other team's feed.

My the jail joke didn't require that you take it to the level of homosexuality, btw. Cute, though.

At least my critique of Boler has some substance to it. Your defense of Boler is monosyllabic and basically without substance.

When you say that boler and i were romantic in jail with each what level of homosexuality were you referring too?

You dont like boler and have your reasons
The reasons that you dont like him dont bother me and i like his voice (as do many others) and think he is funny and has some good catch phrases (like buckle up)
For some reason that drives you to use insults.

What i pictured was actually quite romantic, like that scene in ghost but the brazzers version.
 
I once saw Boler in Circuit City on Fort Union back in the day before my exodus from Utah. He looked like ****. Must have been coming off a long bender.

I think it was right after he started for the Jazz but it could have been before. Someone walked up to him and he blew them off.

At least he dropped "hammers down the three". That one drove me nuts. There are definitely worse announcers out there. Just hard to listen to him night after night. I also like the perspective of most of the other announcers in the league. Good to mix things up.

Boler does his job and does it decently. At least he doesn't yell Morgan Jeweler! when there is a great play like Boone does. I remember he did that with a game on NBATV and I thought that there were a lot of people watching wondering what the hell this guy was talking about.
