So today is Jimmer Fredette's workout with the Jazz, which in and of itself might hold some significance, depending on how much Jimmer talks about it. We know the Jazz won't. But what would be more significant is if Jimmer and Kemba Walker went head to head. Is this actually going to happen, and if it does, will it be relevant to the Jazz's draft plans? Or is this just another workout? Obviously, we know the guards will work out together, but will we see some one-on-one matchups like Jimmer vs. Kemba? Will this gain some national media attention, being so close to the draft?
 
Not sure how a head-to-head between Jimmer and Kemba would be meaningful, unless the Jazz trade down or, in some way, pick up another pick between 3 and 12.

I don't see either as an option at #3, nor do I see having the luxury to choose between them at #12 ..

It would be cool to see these two go head to head, then we can see if all those combine messurments for jimmer actual translate into staying in front of his guy.

I would imagine they are wanting to see if Jimmer can somewhat guard Kemba. If he can't... they might decide to pass on Jimmer even if he's available at 12. But if he can... it may solidify the pick at 12 if Jimmer's still there.
 
I really hope Jimmer goes somewhere besides Utah. I can hardly stand all of his homer's on this board now. Imagine the # of Jimmer posts if he is drafted by this team. I would not mind the guy if he turns into a good player. And I probably won't hate the pick too much if he's picked at 12 (though I still think that is too high for him). But I will be very interested to see the reaction if and when he can't crack the rotation or he's sent to the D-league. I have a fear that Jimmer is going to be a lot like Morris Almond. Great scorer against weak defense. Not good enough to get his shot off in the NBA and make a good %. With nothing else to speak of in his game.

If you actually watched Jimmer play and video of team workouts, I don't understand the whole he can't get his shot off crap. Say he will suck at D or I just don't like him, but he IS going to be able to score in the nba. For sure

Please no. Why do people advocate having ONE thread for every main topic? I don't want to wade through a 300+ post thread in order to find info about Kemba, Knight, Singleton, etc. It's an internet message board, not your living room. There is enough space for clutter.

Sweet, the draft thread has almost 5,000 posts...oh well, heard a sweet rumor about trading up in the draft...better post it in the giant thread...it surely won't get lost in there!
