No, I'm just saying how bad Exum has been at everything that isnt getting into the paint.

And outside of results, I think Favors 3pt shot has actually looked better than Exum's.

He's getting to the free throw line, has avoided turnovers (had one really bad one last night though), has played decent defense, throws good lob passes.

He has stayed on the court... he's meeting my overall expectations. I know some thought he'd do better but overall I'm okay with what hes given so far.

He doesnt turn it over because he doesnt do anything. I just wish he would make any attempt at expanding his game. Right now he's looking like an 11 million dollar 7th man.

If this is all Exum is, he is certainly a useful player, but I don't see how he gets better if he doesnt actively try to add to his game or step outside his very limited comfort zone.

9.6 base... kind of what 6th-7th men get... especially ones with some upside. Better than a 15M turnover machine with low volume scoring on low efficiency.

Yeah but my point is that I dont know if he has upside if he isnt trying to expand his game.

And I'd take Rubio over him still, because he tries to do things. We know what Rubio's upside performance is. I still don't know what Exum's is or if he will ever actually do it.

He's getting better. He attacks with confidence and his finishing has gotten so much better. His game might not be very nuanced yet, but he's making progress imo. He gets to the paint a lot and has a stellar FT attempt rate... that is really valuable. 4.5 Ast per 36m ain't bad in our system.

It's 10 games... what were you hoping for? I'm sorry he isn't trying enough stuff for you... not everyone gets the amount of leash that Ricky does to try stuff.

The leash stuff is so inaccurate. Exum's leash is shorter because he doesnt try to do stuff more than the other way around.

Okay... I'm sure Dante would get 30 minutes a night if he was turning it over at the rate Ricky is... he'd just tell Quin he's trying stuff.

Exum has not been the solution... but he ain't the problem either.

Might as well let Exum try it. The Jazz are paying him a pile and if Ricky walks in July Exum is the only thing close to a starting pg on the jazz roster. If he plays well Jazz know they can let Ricky walk, if Exum fails then at least they know they have to shop for something.

Quick thoughts:
Ricky- isn't offensively gifted or even average. and I think his on the ball D has gotten worse knowing gobert is back there.

Burks- should be starting or atleat getting 6 man minutes. His on the ball D is a little un-moving... but his help D is solid. (y'all see his block last night)

Quinn- Make adjustments.

Gobert- i wish he would have been DPOY snubbed.... Guy looks content. where is the gobert who get offended and takes it personal when someone scored on him?

Crowder- needs to learn to pass up a good look for a better look. Don't get me wrong ive liked what he does but i still thnk he would be that much better if he could/would do this

Favors- come off the bench big guy. With favors we should use the montra (its not you its me) Favors is good at what he does but what he does doesn't mesh well with what we try to do. For the sake of our team and his career he should leave utah.

Jazz Team- FREE THROWS!!!!

that is all. hope you all can appreciate my thoughts on this game. let me know if you all echo some of these same thoughts.
