Dante Exum Averages .2 Steals Per Game

Start Dante. We're so boring to watch. Dante and Donovan in the back court. I'm tired of slow basketball. Starting on the bench is so hard as well. To come in cold it's so hard to adjust to.

****ing spare me. Exum blows. He could start with Jordan, Lebron, Duncan and Shaq and he’d still ****ing blow.

yup X can match Ricky's 0 for whatever comfortably but at least he can slow down dudes I'm actually not fussed about Ricky's shooting, it's his defense and turnovers have been horrendous this year
Yes I agree. He can't shoot. Let's hope he can improve it. But his athleticism is insane. And starting is an advantage for players without a doubt. Let Rubio play with second unit

Exum is that kid who kills it in training but come game day just doesnt deliver for whatever reason.

My main concern is that he wanted to re-sign here, I dont think the game style suits him and the coach benches him for sneezing. By resigning for more than he could get elsewhere it worries me that he doesnt believe in himself.

Feom the outside looking in I would have said thanks and see ya later Quin, we just aren't a good fit.
The market for FAs was a disaster zone last offseason though, I don't blame guys like Exum and Favors getting paid by the Jazz when the likely hood of them getting anywhere near those deals on the open market was slim to none.

Demarcus ****ing Cousins took a MLE and a number of other guys expecting nice pay days were disappointed because teams just didn't have money to spend, let alone willing to spend on a RFA like Exum where the Jazz were going to match any low ball deal.

this is right. his ceiling shaun livingston. different kind of player, but about that good, that impactful. a good rotation wing who can help a really good team. but yeah, only the delusional would think he can be a star, at this point.

Actually he's more like Leandro Barbosa than Shaun Livingston. I don't want to say that's his ceiling since he could be better than Barbosa, especially defensively, but who knows if he'll ever be consistent enough to reach that ceiling.

Right now, he's in the same ballpark as Michael Carter-Williams.

I'm fussed about Ricky's shooting. He went 4/15 last night, and it's been more common for him to shoot 1/7, 3/11 or 4/13 than shoot a respectable 4/9 or 5/11. The Kings were giving him 12 feet of space on the perimeter, daring him to shoot or try to pass over the top.
