What's new

We HAVE to make a trade.

That's not a good deal for Utah. We don't want Ryan Anderson's contract. I think the Jazz are bent on shopping in free agency even if they miss out on the top tier.

Yeah I know but are we gonna get anyone better than Ariza? And Anderson at least can shoot which we need should Crowder or Ariza ever get injured.

The guy I keep coming back to is Gallo. When he is healthy he's perfect.

The big concern is health. My second concern is he isn't like a 5-year piece... more of a 2-3 piece because of age. He could still be valuable after that, but I think DL is trying for the long term home run.

He is shooting the lights out. Can create. Gets to the line. He's fine on defense (not great but neither is Tobias). I think eventually they would move him for just expirings... but maybe not if they continue to be top 2-3 team in the west. If they want max space and to keep Tobias then moving Gallo works for them. I don't see them realistically clearing two max spots (of the 30M variety) and I don't think there are two guys willing to come over.

I'd rather play Cavanaugh... anderson is cooked.

I think the Jazz would literally prefer signing someone like Kevon Looney in free agency than take on Ryan Anderson's contract.

See what Houston or Philly offers them.

they won't give a first unless they are also dumping salary. Philly might do Markelle for Ariza doe.

I think we have to upgrade Rubio. Even if we got a dynamite stretch 4, I have major concerns about his ability to get the best out of everybody else. We need to let Mitchell and Ingles try to run the offense.

My fear is that we rely on Rubio then feel in the summer that we have to bring him back. There are a ton of guys who can do what Rubio is doing.
