The West is crazy this year, it’s been the most dominant conference for years now, but every team but the Suns are in the hunt for a place in the playoffs. Whereas, in the East, only about 8-9 teams are in the hunt, and some are under 50% wins. The NBA really needs to change the playoff structure.

Yep. I'm a Raptors fan and I can personally add the fact that in all 9 years that DD was on the Raptors we were better every year when he was on the bench. Nothing can make up for his lack of 3s and atrocious defence. He doesnt contribute to winning games cuz hes not a net +.
