What's new

ESPN: Bucks and T'Wolves have talked Bogut + 10th pick for 2nd pick

I actually don't have a lot of concerns about Bogut's injuries. From what I can recall, his injury problems this year were exclusively arm-related, and I really don't worry about that. Arm's heal much easier than knees and back, even though I know he's had back problems in the past.

But I'm not a Bogut expert. I just know that when you're a league-leader in both blocks and charges taken, in addition to holding your matchup to below-average numbers, you're doing a great job.

Yeah, I'm in no way concerned about his elbow. Elbow's dont have to support 260+ pounds of Aussie beef. Knees and backs, however, do.

Bogut's elbow injury was very serious. He has had two surgeries on it. He may never have full strength or flexibility in his arm. I would not trade for him now but when he was healthy I certainly would have. Unfortunately, the reason why he is on the block is because he isn't the same player.

When Bogut is healthy, outside of Dwight Howard who is a better C than Bogut?

Off the top of my head, I'll be honest and say I don't know. But I'll counter you by asking if he is the second best center in the league, a position that is very weak (looking at names, stats, and using common sense), then why does he not have better stats? I'm not saying stats tell the whole story but Jesus the position is so weak across the board in the league and yet he averaged just 12.8 ppg last season (on under 50% from the floor), 2.0 assists, and 44.2% from the line. Sorry but he's nothing special.

And yes I know the Bucks play a slower tempo.

Screwed up right arm. It should get better.

Just for fun I photoshopped Bogut as a Jazz man:

Because Bogut is constantly injured.

Hyperbole.

Bogut makes Boozer and AK look like ironmen.

Ignorance/ute hate. Can't decide which is the overriding factor.

Brilliant job, fellas.

For what it's worth...

All three of these sources say Bogut is top 3 among centers.
