I was joking about the Knick thing, but the shoes do look orange and blue to me. As a lifelong Alabama fan, it's going to be very hard for me to buy anything orange and blue. Hopefully they come out with a Jazz color version...

Modern basketball shoes like to do storytelling. The blue/orange is probably like his origin story of growing up around the Mets organization.

It’s definitely not a deep red and it does depend on what picture you look at. I’m sure they’ll sell good, which will be important. He does have a lot to live up to at this point. A shoe so quick is crazy tbh, he’s lucky he’s with Adidas and not Nike. I find the “DON 1s” thing a little less catchy than “Spida 1’s” It’s almost like if their is a rumored name they don’t like to go with it. I think Spida 1’s is more catchy than “DON’s”, not that that part really matters.

Cy is right once again. Orange blue is NY Mets things, than he'll probably have Louisville Color scheme than go onto a Jazz color theme


...than a Purple and gold theme...
