You're KOC. You hear that the Cavs take Irving at 1 and Kanter goes at 2. Then you take Derrick Williams.

You are still impressed with Knight so you call up the Cavs and offer Okur, 12th pick and GS Lottery pick.

You clear 10 million dollars of cap room and get a future PG in Brandon Knight. Meanwhile the Cavs get a quality big man, the chance at a SG which is their mean need and a future quality pick.

KNight for two firsts? Maybe.
But why are we referring to the "GS Lottery Pick." Golden State won 36 games last season, even with friction between Curry and Ellis. They have a new coach - that alone should improve atitude and effort. I wouldn't be surprised to see GS improve by 5-7 games and sneak in as the 8th seed, perhaps even 7th.

It was a typo relax. I also think they can win a decent amount of games

No, not in this weak draft. I don't like Knight that much.

Golden State hired Mark Jackson to be their coach. If anything, that will make them worse.

You do not move the GS pick for anything in this draft. #10 next year (Rivers currently) looks almost as good as #1 this year.

I agree with most. It seems like an awful lot to give up for someone who could develop into a rich man's Devin Harris. The only way I'm giving up GS's pick is for a proven commodity or Irving.

I would never give up that pick. Next year you wil have much more value than you do this year. If anything the Jazz should look to add another pick for next year.

Irving is in no way a proven commodity. He is just as big as a question mark as Kanter.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Only if I thought 100% Brandon Knight was going to develop into at least a border line All-Star. We would be set at 4 positions with our only weakness being Center. Maybe our own 1st round pick lands us Tyler Zeller next year?

If Okur's a quality big man, why wouldn't we keep him? The chance at a sg? I'm not sure that chance is worth their risk. And the GS pick, okay, that feels like it could be a top 10 pick but who knows. They're improving.
