Korver is trash

I like Korver with our system, but DL has proved that his negotiation skills suck. 2 draft picks and a guy well North of 30 for a 37 year old. DL ended up looking like the guy who bought a cool really old sports car and was talked into financing it for two years at a 30% interest rate. If that was the going price, we should have looked at other lots.
A 30% interest rate over 2 years has you paying about the same amount of interest as 12% over 5 years.

And here he’s paying all that interest up front instead of spreading it. Genius.

12% over 5 years is better since the monthly payment is a lot smaller and you end up paying the same amount. And you can always pay more than the monthly payment if you can afford it.

5@12% >> 2@30%

I see you’ve taken a very concrete interpretation.

Dumb post. There's a reason why Korver is playing for Utah instead of Toronto or Philly. There are several teams with playoff hopes who are really pissed that they missed out on Korver. Utah only acquired him because they beat the offers from other dummies thinking like you that he could be had for less.

The really funny thing is that if Korver had been traded elsewhere, you and your fellow armchair expert GMs would be yapping about how DL just always sits on his hands and how we could have beaten the offer that got a certain player.

Regardless of what a GM does, there's always going to be amateur wanna-bees coming in to share their brilliant observations on what should have been done.

What a stupid *** trade just from the stand point that we used an expiring contract to get him. When we could have used that as ammo to make a more important trade.

Now we are stuck with him next year for 7.5 mil too. Damn, that was so dumb.

I would way rather have Burks and those picks too.

The admins should seriously consider banning any future posts of this sweet individual.

I always thought the Jazz were dumb for letting go of Korver. His defense was always underrated. Not quick enough to be a lockdown guy but solid team defender who plays smart position defense. But then the Jazz fell apart there for a few years with Ty as coach, letting go of both Millsap and Korver, and drafting Burke and Kanter.

10.13 PPG on 41.7% from deep. 20 MPG. Highest points per minute total of his career (by a good margin) and highest 3PA/minute as well (again by a good margin). I love that he has the absolute green light.

How many games has he had a serious impact on? Not any slight to Burks, but as a few, mainly OP, were chapped about losing Burks, how many games did he have / would he have had a significant impact on?

No, Not even close, and 12 % interest rate isn't a deal. Is this real? Are you this stupid? Is it really 12% over 5 years? You moron. I guess it would be for you because your in your living out your mom's basement, so keep thinking that. And Korver will not be in the league for another 5 years, check his age. Public disclosed information. #winnersmentality

The draft picks are what, 4th, 5th, 6th rounders? Probably would end up in the "AND 1" League anyway. Korver is a proven commodity! He's already done enough since the trade to have made it worth while!
Your great in dealing with smart ***, sarcastic remarks. Great Job.
