Hayward's Woes

I literally feel nothing towards him. I went from wanting to father his children to absolutely loathing him. Now? Nothing. It's kind of odd.
 
He played like he was scared in that GSW game. I always thought the pressure of Boston was going to be a bad fit for him.

More like Brad-love that caused the move, I think. A lot of people probably would've done the same to be with their best bud. I don't really think it's anything more than that though despite all of the snide remarks we make on here.

And he doesn't like Quin. He's too mean apparently, and Hayward is a snowflake.

I’ll take the constant displays of affection by Snyder and comments from numerous writers and players about how he treats his players well over one dissafected player.

He doesn't strike me as a guy that will make decisions based on emotion. He might love Brad but it wasn't a key reason behind his decision, no.

Pop yelled at Tim Duncan every day. It's part of the plan. Coach Q is harsh but fair, he makes you better. He made Hayward an all-star, and is busy making #27 and #13 all-stars too.
 
I thought Hayward was going to struggle (at least play well below expectations) in Boston before he got hurt, and Boston fans are not forgiving. Now we will never know as he clearly is not the same player. A healthy Hayward would have been a great piece for the Jazz, but I don't miss the guy. I only think about him when I see the Celtics on TV or during threads like this.
 
I feel bad for him, the injury was horrific and no one deserves that said.

That said, I feel bad about the injury because he would've been exposed as mentally weak and a product of the entire system
being built around him to succeed, and the injury obscures that.

That also said, if he gets back to 80%, I'd strongly consider bringing him back because he's still perfect for what
we need, more than Harris, Porter, and a lot of guys talked about. He wouldn't feel the pressure of being the alpha dog
with Rudy and Donovan around. I forgive and forget pretty easily, and if he performed well most of us would too. Plus come on,
what a storyline.

GH got his Max 4/128 deal and he still gets paid. Now his next contract may dip a bit but if he follows PG13 path, who, by the way also sucked *** his first year back, he will be fine.

What sucks for Celtics, assuming Hayward is mostly back **next year**, is he can opt out after next year.....

It would be nice if Jazz brought him back. 82 opportunities a year to boo the **** out of him, instead of the current 2.

It's Hayward woes too. He would have got his Max here too and he knows. Difference is it would have been a bigger Max and he would be have a better role and be a better player. And the fans would have loved him to death
He ****ed up.

Yeah, Paul George really sucked his first year coming back. He only averaged 23 points per game. Horrible
