Who would you rather see the Jazz play in the 1st round, the Thunder or the Trailblazers? The Thunder might be a tad bit more athletic, but the Blazers are definitely a better shooting team by a large margin! We play our slow down, playoff type game, we can beat either team, but I think I'd rather take my chances with the Thunder! We can definitely out "think" the Thunder.

I think the Jazz can beat either the Thunder or the Blazers, but both series would go 6 or 7 games. Ideally, the Jazz would move up to the 3rd seed, play Portland or San Antonio as the 6th seed, then play Denver in the 2nd round.

Westbrook is inefficient offensively this year. He's worse than last year. OKC's bench is also pretty bereft of scoring threats. They rely on Schroeder. If the Jazz can guard the **** out of Paul George and contain Steven Adams on the roll, I don't think the Thunder are better offensively than they were last year. Lets see how they look when their schedule toughens up.

I dont think so, Westbrick will give them triple double and this year they are better behind the 3pt Line. PG3 plays out of mind latey he is in K. Durant category. And they lost last year to us Will want Our Blood.
Despite all of this I want Jazz play them than Blazers.

Schroeder was a solid pick up for them! Shoots well, doesn't turn the ball over much and settles things down when Westbrook gets out of control!

SA>Portland>Denver> LAL>OKC>Houston>GS.

Those are the teams I see Jazz facing in the playoffs ranked in order of preference. Jazz may have a better chance to beat Houston, but I hate the matchup and don't want to watch Harden. The others are likely to be 7-8 seed and lose in the first round. I can't see the Jazz getting to the 2 seed. Lakers are a long shot, but they may get to the 7 seed and upset Denver. Jazz would have to get to the 3 seed and win in this scenario.

Neither Portland or OKC is a good matchup for the Jazz but I think we would have a better shot against Portland. The team I really want to avoid the first round is the Rockets.

Why isn't Portland a good matchup? Because you look at the last 2 games where Jazz shot horribly, or Blazers had their best scoring game of the year? Why ignore the other 2 games where jazz blew them out? Jazz match up much better if they have Exum to help defend. I'll take jazz in a 7 game series against Portland.
