What's new

No Rubio, no Neto, no problem?

Yes. Defense is better and the team is more intense and consistent.
However offense needs some work.

Every game over 100 points. Offense seems ok to me.
You can even go back to last season. iirc we went 4-1 last year without Rubio and scored over 100 points in all 5 of those games as well.

Not sure about the last season but the offensive rating was around the league average in these seven games. Considering the relative softness of them, it should have been better. So if I had to guess, team would be #1 in the league defensively and #17 offensively.

From an article I read today: Ricky Rubio has missed 8 games this season. Donovan Mitchell in those games:
27.4 ppg
5.3 apg
4.5 rpg
50.0 fg%
41.1 3pt%

Interesting stats. It seems that Donovan plays better without him. Ingles is a far better floor spacer and passer while running the team just as well. I will be a little annoyed if Ricky maintains the starting spot the rest of the year. Frankly O'Neal is just a better player this year than Rubio is.

Yep. We’ve got our point guard, our biggest need is to find a scoring shooting guard

That Orlando win looks pretty good right about now, they have been killing it this last month.
