What's new

Utah Jazz guard Dante Exum has suffered a partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee and is si

what are the chances this is show biz, a deliberate ploy to set up, once again, the miracle season finish like we did last year?

whatever. Donovan Mitchell looks good for it, again.

This.
It totally sucks. As much as I don't think he is any good I still would always look forward to seeing him on the court due to the hope that he could get to the point where he is better than the other 2 pg's. He is nice to have to throw at guys on the defensive end too

At least it's only partially torn. If it doesn't need surgery it's like 1 - 2 months recovery.

It just sucks because there's zero chance Exum is going to be ready for the playoffs even if he's healthy by then, so he's basically done for the season.

Thats a wrap.

Love the kid and really feel for him but both sides need a fresh start now. Dante needs a new environment and the Jazz need to go all in for a PG this offseason.

DL has to do better. Signing a injury prone player to 3yr 33mil fully guaranteed. Now we are stuck in a bad spot
There's around 5 mil in incentives so it's not 33 mil guaranteed, but yeah this just further cements how hard DL whiffed on the offseason and trade deadline while the rest of the West got better.

At least there'll be some fireworks in the offseason.
