Jazz ban 2nd fan for calling Westbrook "boy"

Oh good, I was afraid there wasn't going to be a white person who could explain to me what all black people really want...
Furthermore, don't you have something better to do than dump on me. Your comment is doing nothing to enlighten the issue. This is what I call harassment.

It does enlighten. There is no such thing as "speaking for a demographic". Everyone is different. We know for a fact that white people "jokingly" using the n-word is something that many find very offensive. It's just a fact. Why you're continuing to argue is beyond me.

I'm not continuing the argument. You and the rest are ... put it to rest. And you're wrong, black people do joke about the N-word among themselves. Guess you haven't been close enough to them to realize that. And honestly, making light of it, is the way to defuse it, to take away its power. But no one here can seem to understand that.

I never said anything about black people using the n-word. I said white people using it is very offensive for many. If you choose to disregard that because you're just so anti-PC, then people will consider you, and treat you, like trash. I'm telling you this because you often wonder why people treat you in the way they do. Take my advice or don't. Couldn't care less about you tbh. Just letting you know why you're treated and viewed in such a poor light.

Look @Eenie-Meenie let me help you out.

Don’t speak for others, especially when you are not part of that demographic. Regardless of personal experience. It’s just not a good look.

You’re welcome

In all fairness, that's what the people ripping on Eenie are doing.
My point is not who is "right" or "wrong", just that it boils down to the same thing.

Thank you. They are ripping on me, for making a joke that was misinterpreted and now I have to continually defend myself because I am not a racist.

Maybe would've gone better if you dropped it? Instead of your relentless, and gross, defense of it?

Yeah, and Utahns who don't have much experience with that demographic shouldn't speak on it either.

There is a very large difference between general opinions on race and attempting to speak for a demographic you don’t belong to. Not the same thing at all. And furthermore you have no idea what experiences the others have, or have not, had.

Show me where someone else is speaking for a community they are not a part of. If you do I’ll tell them the same thing.

Within any demographic there are a variety of opinions and experiences, people really are just speaking for themselves - maybe we could just leave it at that? It really irks me when folks seem to speak as if there's uniformity among any particular group, whether it be by race, ethnicity, education, income, profession etc. - generally going to be differences of opinion

Videos going around twitter of Griffin getting into it with a white fab who called him “boy” in Minny and Siakam just got called the N word after a free throw in OKC by a woman.

Oh Utah, why do you have to spread your hate?

Personally I hope to see the Jazz take the point on this issue for the league and lead a charge to change the culture at games.
Yeah, hopefully it is clear my comment was in jest.
