Yesterday it was snowing outside my house in the SLC valley. Today it was sunshine and temperatures in the mid 60's

So it makes sense we would be playing a team named the suns from hot *** Phoenix AZ on the best day of the year so far in SLC.

I cleaned my BBQ grill today, my wife made potato salad (I guarantee it's the best anyone ever had) and stuffed jalepenos wrapped in bacon and I'm gonna grill a couple new York steaks.

Oh and the wife made biscuits and gravy for breakfast. And my work catered in Cafe Rio and even though it's my day off I drove in to work anyway cause I can't resist a free meal.

It's been a good day. Jazz blowout win to top it off.

I'm getting bored with all of those easy games at the end of a long *** season. I think I'll pass on this one too. Hopefully I don't miss a historic game from Mitchell, which is something I worry about each time I miss a game.

When are you going to make me stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon?

They’re soooo gooooood! If you ever make them though be sure to wear gloves.
I used to make a dish where I’d grill chicken, put it in a jalapeño, grill it, then wrap it in cheese and a tortilla, the fry it, then smother it. Good stuff. Took too long, though. I mostly specialize in pastas these days. I cook with a lot of alcohol.

I'm not trying to sounds super cool, but I could literally rub jalapeno pith in my eyeballs without blinking.

I'm cool, right? Super cool?

Yep. And turn on the ceiling fan.

I grilled them today but we have baked them too.
I recommend baking them. On the grill you can really only cook one side cause if you flip them you get cream cheese dripping down into the grill. So one side is burned a bit. Still good but baking them is the way to go. Also the ones we just had for dinner were really mild and I like mine with more heat/spice.

The steaks I made however might have been the best I have ever made. My grill was operating at it's best and I had the steaks marinating in some teriyaki sauce and then put some bourbon brown sugar spices on them. They were perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and so flavorful.

I usually like to buy Ribeyes but after having these new York strip steaks I think I have been converted. They were on sale at Harmon's for 5 steaks for 20 bucks too. Can't beat that.

I would drive in the opposite direction of work on my day off lol
I'm a sucker for free food. And I got an hour and a half of overtime pay by attending the meeting that directly followed lunch.
I only live about 10 minutes away too. It was worth it.
