Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

lmao, a Houston --> Golden State scenario for our two first match-ups is a total nightmare.

Now, given, gone is Trevor Ariza (who was the main defender that gave Donovan trouble last year) and we've gotten better at featuring Gobert on O-- but without Exum our guards will be massacred by James Harden and Chris Paul. I shudder at the literal thought.

If Portland wins and the clippers lose tonight, our best scenarios happen if we lose out. That way if OKC beats Houston then we would play Portland in the 3-6. If Houston beats OKC then we play Portland in the 4-5.

If Portland wins tonight, and assuming they win the rest of their games, if the jazz win any game they are guaranteed 5th and could play Houston as the 4.

Houston has gotten better too. Their depth is really good

Portland plays the Kings to end the season. If the Kings win-out, then they'll finish right at .500...... let's hope that the Kings will be extra motivated by that pride.

And, Houston has every motivation to keep winning. The odds that they handle OKC are fairly good.

I understand why DEN is doing this, but I don't think it's a gambit that will work; and it could cost them HC against HOU. I'm not sure I'd do what they're doing, but obviously it helps to get your best players some rest.

What’s the worst case scenario that ends up biting the Nuggets for this crap they are pulling?

It's unlikely but it's possible the Rockets could pass them in the standings. Then not only would they have to face the Rockets in the second round but they would do so without home court.

Blazers v Jazz is going to have the best storylines. The top one being how much we hate Kanter, and booing every time he looks in the general direction of the ball.

I don't see how we don't get the rockets. The rockets wont care to play tough against the thunder

Jazz should beat Denver and then see what happens in the Houston/OKC game. If Houston falls into the 4th seed, we may want to lose to the Clips and drop into the 6th seed. That would get us a Portland/Denver draw.
