Jazz Rank 20th In Destination For Free Agents

If I were Kemba Walker or Jimmy Butler, I'd have Utah on my free agency list. Maybe not first choice, but top 3. Jazz would be nearly a 60-win team and top 3 in the west.

I havent read through the thread, but having Dallas as #1 is laughable. When have they ever won in free agency? Seriously. Every year they say they have max cap space and end up with...who? Deandre Jordan after failing to sign him the first go around?
I know Utah isn't a top choice, but this list is a bit off if Dallas is #1

So you would have no interest in a guy who averages 24 a game. Got it. That's why the Jazz have never won a Championship.
Carmelo has been a cancer his entire life, that's why he's never won. He's had insane talent surrounding him and still couldn't get it done.
At least the Jazz were stopped by Jordan, you may have heard of him. The greatest of all time. He stopped a few teams.
You talk about Carmelo and his 24 PPG average, but say nothing about his 3 APG. The lowest assist to point ratio of any player who's averaged 35 PPG. I wouldn't hire Carmelo to take out my garbage unless he threw himself in the trash can. Human garbage. Speaking of which, your mother and s donor should quit making more of you. Stupid people shouldn't breed.

Never won? Look up Syracuse basketball and Olympics basketball.
Word of advice: People who don't follow basketball should not post on a basketball forum. You just embarrass yourself.

I think this poster means that Melo never won much in the NBA. He was a great college player though, probably comparable to Grant Hill and Danny Manning.

Jazz are a decent team but they lack the elite player that 99 out of 100 championship winning teams have. Where is the Jazz Walt Clyde Frazier? Where is the Jazz Eli Manning? Where is the Jazz Derek Jeter? Where is the Jazz Mark Messier? We have those players in NY and that's why we win multiple championships in all sports.

Jazz don't have that. Sorry to be blunt, but it's the truth.
Didn't realize the Knicks and Nets had won so many titles in the last 30 years. When was the last time a 'Melo team was a contender? There's a reason Houston was offering him to any team in the league and there were ZERO takers. He's washed up. He's a cancer. He's the player you pay to just stay home.

Wow.

You do realize the object of basketball is to put the ball in the hoop in order to score more points than the other team does, no? Guess what? Melo averages 24 points a game. That means he will get you 24 a game. Sometimes more. (Melo the Jazz killer put up 30 in the blink of an eye against the Jazz on January 20th 2016. He single-handedly destroyed your team. Humiliated you. And we, of course, won.)

So you think a player that gives a team 24 a game is a cancer. Once again, the object of the game is to score more than the other team. And you would not want 24. Good God.

Agreed. How many NBA rings did he get, I forget. It has to be dozens, right?

I mean, just last year vs Utah in the 6 game playoff series he:

Played 32 mins a night
Averaged 11.8 points on 37%/21%/73% shooting (bad)
Averaged 0.3 assists (oof)
+/- of -9.7 (wow)
oRtg of 95 and dRtg of 108 (net -13)

He’s one of, if not the primary reason, that okc lost in the playoffs to Utah last year.

Carmelo is absolutely the main reason the Jazz won last year. He couldn’t guard anyone and they targeted him every time they could.

This year, the Thunder have swept the series and I don’t think there’s any question why.

Lol...MeloTheJazzKiller has nothing to argue about other than career averages. Maybe we can just sign MJ, Malone and Magic. Who would stop them? Look at how many PPG they averaged.

There are a number of reasons why Melo isn't getting a look lately:
2. there's a strong hint of racism here with Carmelo not being signed. Kevin Love goes anywhere he wants but Carmelo can't? You tell me what's behind that.

And Kaepernick is good enough to be a starter in the NFL on a team of his choosing, got it.

Completely stupid to do this ranking before seeing how the playoffs play out.

Zero credibility for any clown who doesn't get that.

I don't need to look up Syracuse basketball or Olympic basketball. I'm fully aware of Melo's accomplishments and his failures. But its apparent that you are not. Here you are living on the past successes of Melo and what he accomplished decades ago. Meanwhile beating down Jazz fanz for recent failures. So lets talk about it.
Melo won the national championship with Syracuse averaging 22 ppg, and 2.2 apg. I am actually old enough to remember Carmelo's college playing days, unlike you, who I am guessing that you still have to listen to elders to tell you what it was like when he played, but no worries, you still have the Carmelo posters hanging on the walls in your 6x9 bedroom of your parents house. One thing that you should know, (after your mother started feeding crap into your brain such as, Carmelo was great, your uncle isn't your father, the noise you heard behind the door of your moms bedroom wasn't what you thought it was, and that you could accomplish whatever you wanted if you put your mind to it), is that, Carmelo was a cancer from day one with the Nuggets. The same way you were a cancer the second you came out of your uncles nuggets and into your mom's uterus.

Also to add some clarity. Your uncle does visit way to much; your mom belly bump just may be your new brother and your new nephew, and the best part definitely was lost down your mothers left leg.

The Nuggets lost to the Spurs even when they had a roster consisting of,
Your beloved Melo, Iverson, Nene (in his prime), Camby, J.R. Smith.

Why did they lose? Because Melo is a Cancer, just like you.

In 2008 Melo and the Nuggets lost again in the first round with a roster of, Chauncey Billups, Kenyon Martin, Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith. Again, a cancer.

2009, lost in the Western Conference Finals to the Lakers. Again with an amazing squad.

Here's something for you,
Carmelo Anthony has the worst winning percentage for any player in NBA history with at least 50 playoff games, according to ESPN.

Anthony's teams have a 16-36 (.308) record during his playoff career with the Nuggets and Knicks.

Denver reached the playoffs in all seven of Anthony's full seasons with the franchise, but were eliminated in the first round each year except for 2009 when they reached the Western Conference Finals.

Keep sticking up for your Marshmallow on the bench that no NBA team wants. He's weak and soft, and so are you. Keep trashing the Jazz and I'll keep making you the mistake and embarrassment to life that you are.

Doncic and Porzingis are two great building blocks. Dallas has the lowest payroll in the league. Not sure what Porzingis' cap hold will be. But Dallas could have $50M to spend. I probably wouldn't put Dallas #1, but with those two, FA's would have to consider the Mavs. Not everyone can play for GS.

You know I can shorten your insanely long post for you. Here's what you should have written:

"I don't know what to write about Melo's success so I'll just write a loooong post with nothing but childish, idiotic insults."

Fixed.
Why shorten it, when I can go on for days and weeks about how bad Melo sucks? BTW, Is this actually Melo and the reason your so insulted by my post is because you have nothing to do but go on here and read how much Melo isn't loved? If he was so good, he wouldn't have been cut by every team he tried to be apart of this year. He's literally sitting at home inactive, which is the most productive he's been in the last 5 years. His PER was - 1.8 meaning he was better off to his team if he didn't play in the last 5 years. He's won 25 and lost 47 of his playoff games. Would you like another novel about how bad Carmelo sucks? I have more.
