We lost this game at the end of the 2nd quarter. If we could have maintained or extended the lead I think we would be in a position like game 4.
I wish we would have just gotten swept.
I can already hear DL this summer... "We looked at hard at our options during the draft and free agency. We looked hard into trade possibilities. We tried a few things that didn't pan out. But look we feel good about bringing all of our guys back, Ricky and Derrick especially. We feel like staying the course with this group is the right way to go because of how well we performed in the playoffs. We beat Houston in game 4. We were right there with them in games 3 and 5. If a couple of things bounce our way we could have won that series. We feel like we're good enough to compete with anyone. Chemistry is important. We like our guys and they like each other. We feel like we can get better through internal growth. We're young. We're excited to see what this group can do next year."
UGGGGHHHH **** **** ****
I'll be there. Meet me on the 9th green at 9. Wear something nice.
I say no. Give me a PG who can shoot the 3 and not air ball a wide open corner 3. Rubio has heart, but he can't coexist with Gobert. Jazz need 4 starters with range..
Let's say we re-sign Rubio for $9 but we also make the tough decision to send Neto packing. Rubio at $9 is less than what Thabo, Udoh, and Neto combined to make this last season. If we commit to Rubio being our backup PG, then I think it's great business.
If we pay Rubio a dime over $9 million to be our starter next year, I think it's bad business.
Thanks for the season everyone!! It's been a great ride. Love this team so much. I love only some of you so much.
Have a fantastic summer and see you in Rocktober!!!!!
