What's new

Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Here's a Top 25 list for me right now. I like some of these guys more than others, but if we come away with one of them I won't complain....

Zion Williamson
Ja Morant
RJ Barrett
Deandre Hunter
Jarrett Culver

Darius Garland
Cam Reddish
Sekou Doumbouya
Coby White
Jaxson Hayes

Brandon Clarke
Romeo Langford
Bol Bol
Rui Hachimura
Nassir Little

PJ Washington
Kevin Porter Jr.
Kezie Okpala
Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Keldon Johnson

Mfiondu Kabengele
Talen Horton-Tucker
Tyler Herro
Jordan Nwora
Louis King

A few guys like Bruno Fernando, Daniel Gafford, Cameron Johnson or Goga Bitadze could push some of the later guys down depending on how things shake out.

I can see Kabengele impressing during workouts and going prior to us, pushing a good player to our spot. I can see the same thing happening with PJ Washington.

I do not like romeo Langford. I think that is to high.

I am a big advocate of cam Johnson. I think his shooting will translate. That is a very valuable skill in the current nba.

Langford is talented, just flakey. He could drop to 19 or 20 or so, but it's not likely...

I could see the Jazz trade Bradley and their late 2nd for a mid-2nd pick with a team that has multiple 2nd rounders (e.g., Atlanta).

There are a few guards in the 2nd round that look viable.

I think Terance Mann from Fla. State can make the league if he wants it. He's a good athlete and has a good handle, feel and passing.

NBAdraft.net has Mann in the 2nd round. That site isn't as wonky as it used to be. Mann didnt even get a Combine invite.

has anybody here watched Luka Samanic? He looks very intriguing on highlights... I have to find some full games of his to watch... will be interesting to see him in the 5-on-5s at the combine:

I've followed him a bit. He's bigger, more athletic and more fluid than Jerebko. I can't quite tell if he's a starter or not. It depends on whether he's got the competitive fire.

If he improves his shooting, he's a nice player.

There was someone here that was really high on samanic, who was it?

I've watched a little he has some upside if he works hard. Like was said if his shooting gets a little better. Seems pretty fluid for a 6'11" kid though
