Rudy Gobert selected to third team All-NBA

This is all I'll say about the supermax: it acts as a penalty to teams that actually draft and develop their players. It hasn't done **** to keep players on their original teams.

This league is going to have an issue with teams hemorrhaging franchise players until they can push through a franchise tag style provision (which they should sacrifice points on BRI to the players in exchange for).

Outside of Davis everyone else offered the supermax took it. This year Lillard, Walker, and Gobert are eligible for it and don't see any of them passing it up.

Klay was robbed. Should of had spot over Russ, imo.
So every one talks about the myth that the Jazz Rob the nuggets in trades but they traded for Jokic pick and Jokic is a cornerstone of building a team. Gobert got third team over KAT because jazz made playoffs. He is not one of the top 15 players in the league.imo. Solid player, 15 years ago would had been a best with post moves but he great defensive anchor but he doesn't have any offensive moves.

His offensive moves are the screen assist and gravity created by rolling to the basket. He led the league in screen assists and top 5 in FG % for anyone beyond lucky taking their first shot.

You’re a creepy weirdo ****. Rudy is easily a top 15 impact player HE DUNKS bru. Pretty high % offensive move

He's probably right I was using next years salary cap numbers not 2022 based.
I honestly have no idea how salary/cap stuff works but I saw someone post that and I was like ah ****. I love Rudy probably more than almost anyone. I'm like his biggest fan. But 60 million at 33 years old? I don't see how you can do that.

I'd still prefer having him locked down though. Because unrestricted free agency is hell for us. The not knowing....trying to plan and build your team around a player that may or may not be there was so hard as we know with Hayward.

I don't understand why we have to say that we hate Gobert if we don't want to give him the max contract, why? why ? Over 230 million are an absurdity for the value of Gobert, which is limited offensively and which in some series of Po you find it hard to keep in the field. To understand each other, I would not give the max contract to Walker or Thompson either ... there are few max contract players, to Lbj, Curry, Kd, Harden, Giannis, Leonard ... already with Lillard who is 29 years old I would think about it .. Not wanting to give the max to Gobert is not to hate him, it is to love the Jazz ..
