Give credit where credit is due - the W's are awesome

So, I got bored on realgm. What’s the penalty for intentionally going beyond their limits?

I’m only partially serious in this post. Mostly it’s beer and not giving a **** about another forum.

Doesn't KD have a player's option? Smart thing for him to do might be to opt in with GS if he doesn't get offered a 4 yr max with the team he wants.

The Knicks should max him and maybe they get him at slightly below max considering he is going to miss next season. Definitely an interesting situation and a real bummer to see Durant go down like this.

I wonder how this will impact the outside view of the Warriors organization.

It seems clear that KD shouldn’t have been out there. They rushed him back and just screwed up his career - heading into his next FA adventure.

I wonder if this will take some of the shine off of the organization here moving forward. They lucked into the “perfect storm” scenario to build their super team, and it’s nice watching it crumble before it can come to its expected conclusion.

If KD leaves, and then trashed the Dubs on his way out the door? That would be extremely entertaining.

it sure seems in hindsight a little reckless at the least to have him play. And the no minutes restriction thing .. will be interesting to see the fallout with regard to the Warriors organization and / or medical staff.

I hope it’s devastating. **** them.

Edit - the fallout, not the injury. I hope his injury isn’t as serious as it looked, but I hope that the fallout from it crippled the Warriors for YEARS.

I mean i did the same initial injury he had early this year, i couldn't walk properly for nearly 3 weeks, and then to get the point of running was another few, but then high impact moves took another 3-4 weeks Even then i was terrified i'd reinjure it. Couldn't believe it when they said he was playing, let alone no minutes restriction.

I think the question to be answered is exactly what did the medical staff advise? Were they 100 percent that Durant wasn't risking more serious injury? Did they advise some minutes restriction? Whatever their advice, it was incorrect, and it could cost them their jobs -- I would think. They certainly bear some and perhaps most of the responsibility for his injury.

Golden State, credit score is in the high 700s.

Credit given where credit is due.

Raptors bought the car with less than perfect credit, then did doughnuts on the lawn of the Warriors house.

Vroom, Vrooooom.
