What's new

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

It sounds like you might not understand my post.

Casey wins coy fired
DeRozan most loyal traded
JV bleed raps traded.

See the above answers. How far did the power of the team is the team take us ?

Yep... Try to see how other team's find success outside of our schemes.

Since firing Casey and trading derozen did not hurt team chemistry your point is what exactly?

I would talk Korver into playing another year, have him recruit DWill and have the PGs be Raul, X and DWill and draft some wings that can shoot with the two picks and pick up Favors option and let Ekpe, Thabo and Rubio walk.

I'm gonna be optimistic...I think a deal for Conley gets done this week.

They have to pay a few, just pay over the going rate for him. Hope they don’t match. We’re Utah, overpaying second tier FAs is the way to go. Not waiting for fools gold.

Dude they won’t let him go. And we won’t offer unless we know 100 % that they wouldn’t match. The timing doesn’t work

Your original response to my post was relationships result in success and I gave you proof that Toronto sacrificed relationships for business decisions and that paid off. Masai went against the grain and hurt feelings in the process but it resulted in a championship.

Throwing the max at Brogdon is on the list of things I would do after trying a couple other things. I wouldn’t be confident it would work.

I get what your saying and maybe you’re right. I said overpay - offer what we doubt they match. That’s how the Jazz will get players. We offer the same they don’t come here. Or we can go along making money as a franchise and leaving early in the playoffs, which as a business is not a bad tactic but not so much fun for fans.

Dude it’s more that the bucks have time to decide whether to match, and while they do our hands are tied to attempt anything else and when they match we’re left with nothing
