News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

Not sure if this has been posted, but this week Kawhi Leonard was spotted enrolling his daughter into a private school in Toronto. Not sure why he'd send his daughter to school in Canada if he's moving to LA.

Still would love if we did something with this on draft night.

I have wanted Ersan for a couple years. I think he is a great backup stretch PF that can start as well. If we could get a pick along with that great!

Honestly we could also use Snell. He is a solid shooting SG that plays defense.

We dont have room to just take them on anymore though unless we waived Favors. But we would have room for both if we did. But I am not sure if it is worth it at that point. I would rather just pick up one of the many many stretch 4s available for cheap.

If we don’t end up buying a legit 2nd then we have been lied to about the supposed trust. There’s never been a better time to start ****ing spending it.

Khris Middleton declines his option for next year and is looking for a max deal. If we moved Exum, declined Favors' option and made another move, we might be able to get close, no?

It’s a max or it’s not. It wouldn’t be close enough. You could, however, get close to the max for a young (likely restricted) free agent as that max is about $27 million. The only two I can think of are Brogdon and DLo and that wouldn’t make much sense now.

And how are we getting rid of Exum now, anyway? How many picks do we gotta send? Oh, right, we really don’t have any we can trade.

Middleton isn’t leaving anyway.

Not that it all matters right now, but they announced the cast for Space Jam 2. Expect some major bad acting from these nba players, especially AD and Klay Thompson.

Update (Wednesday, 6 PM ET): Throughout the middle portion of the draft, more intel is coming in on which teams are targeting who, and it’s created a pretty substantial shift in the mock from slots 10 to 44. Additionally, trades involving the No. 23 pick for Mike Conley and the No. 44 pick going to Miami have shaken up the order already. Expect more of that in the coming 24 hours prior to the draft, as it seems more than half of the picks are in some way shape or form on the market.

Detroit is taking Tony Snell's contract along with the #30 pick from Milwaukee. Detroit is sending back Jon Leuer to the Bucks. So now Detroit has #15 and 30.

Very smart trade for Detroit. They need wings and don't spend that much more for next season.

Bucks save a bunch of 2020-21 money if you consider the tax implications.

I think we’ll take a half season to see how Favors looks in the Conley offense. Maybe the spacing improvements overall makes the matchups better. Who knows, but I do really like Favors. So sure, give him an audition to be on the final version of this team.

But if it’s still not quite clicking: at the trade deadline you have his juicy expiring. Him and Exum for a healthy and looking good Kevin Love? I could see a move like that.
