Lastly, if teams with cap absorb Houston players, that's less money on the open market for this massive free agent class. Portis wants $16, he might get $10. There really aren't that many teams with more than the MLE of less than $10 million.

Gobert and the team would forget that **** the second we got Tucker. That said, Houston isn’t trading us him. They’d have enough takers that they wouldn’t have to pawn him off to a major competitor.

Exactly... he has trashed the dude every time he has been brought up since forever. I think there is a real chance it happens.

Tampering is dead... not enforced or worried about anymore... may as well start announcing deals.

When they did the CP deal it was very clear tampering... I guess no one cares anymore.
 
20 million is a lot for Oubre but he has really high potential. He can effectively guard 4 positions, he is athletic, he can shoot even though its inconsistent, and he can create for himself. He can be a really good player and is still only 23. I doubt he gets 20 million I bet its around 15 which is a good deal for him and the team that takes a chance on him getting better.
