Jazz are emerging as serious threats to sign Bojan Bogdanovic

People on this forum are okay with Bojan at 20 mill a year but not Kevin Love at 28 lol.
I'm not surprised you don't know this but Kevin love is 28.9 million, 31.3 million, 31.3 million, 28.9 million over the next 4 years.
If bojan is making 20 per year for 4 years then that's a difference of about 40 million for the contract.

If the money is the same....

If Bojan wants to be an All Star, he stays in the East at Indy. He has a decent shot.

If Bojan wants to extend his career by playing less minutes carrying less of the load and probably playing in more meaningful games, he should come to Utah.

He'll see less minutes in Indy with Warren now on the team, Oladipo's return, and Sabonis clamoring for more minutes.

People not concerned about the Lakers are crazy. LeBron hasn’t ever really regressed in his ability, AD is the best player he’s played with by a comfortable margin, and they have a max slot in the biggest free agency period maybe ever. If they get Kawhi, they’re prohibitive favorites and seeing it otherwise is homer-goggled wishful thinking.
Cuz we arent weenies.

Not to mention that Love is extremely injury prone. I mean really, who breaks their hand doing pushups. The dude is brittle.

Would be a good pick up. Favors is a good player, but Bog is a better fit.

We will space the floor, and move the ball. We could be the 2nd best team in the west depending on what the Lakers do.

What is the cap situation for Indy? How much space to they have? Do they have bird rights on Bojan to go over the cap to keep him? Or are they SOL if they target guys like Rubio, D'Lo, etc instead?

I know it's not nothing, it's a bunch of money, but still, you measure money relatively. If you have a salary of $30k a year, a 5-10% raise means a lot to what you can make of your life, if you have $100k/yr, 5% is more money, but less change to your life.
I can't believe an NBA player would squander a chance to play for a good fit, compared to a bad team, based on a 5% diff. Yeah, it's a serious amount of money, but still...
But both situations are good. So you have to make the one he doesn’t know quantifiable better than the other, especially since all reports say he is Indy’s to lose.

If we sign him without giving up anything or anybody else, I only have 1 question:

Will we be able to put any team or non-guaranteed options on the last year of the deal? If so, I'm all in. I just want some flexibility for year 4 just in case.
