Brantley was the most encouraging rookie to start. He shows a variety of nice plays on both ends here.
wow, Brantley definitely has shown some "Royce" in him

STOP THE PRESSES!! BRADLEY HAD A GOOD DRIVE IN SUMMER LEAGUE!!! TELL CONLEY HE CAN CRAM IT, WE FOUND THE NEXT KEVIN DURANT MOTHER****ERS!!!Wait...isn't this the guy we should trade into someone's space...just cuz we could use an extra roster spot?
Actually, he went end to end with the ball through traffic and did a Euro step for a nifty lay in. It surprised me and others who were there.STOP THE PRESSES!! BRADLEY HAD A GOOD DRIVE IN SUMMER LEAGUE!!! TELL CONLEY HE CAN CRAM IT, WE FOUND THE NEXT KEVIN DURANT MOTHER****ERS!!!
I saw the highlight. Looked cool. No reason to think he's taken 27 steps and is now basketball Jesus.Actually, he went end to end with the ball through traffic and did a Euro step for a nifty lay in. It surprised me and others who were there.
No one said that, but it sure surprised me. Rudy would never be able to do that, not that he should either.I saw the highlight. Looked cool. No reason to think he's taken 27 steps and is now basketball Jesus.
One step for every career minute of NBA game time he’s logged.I saw the highlight. Looked cool. No reason to think he's taken 27 steps and is now basketball Jesus.
More athletic than Bradley, and I was talking to some guys who work for the Stars before the game and they said Reed still isn't 100 percent healthy, and also that he is significantly better than Bradley when he is. But Bradley did a good job rebounding and was better than I expected. Still think the Jazz ought to trade him to get some assets.Willie Reed looked solid.
Brantley was by far the best of the rookies. I'll wager he makes the team based on our current need for PF position. But you never know who the Jazz might pick up. He reminds me a lot of Millsap when he came up. The best Jazz player on the floor tonight was Naz, but he was playing for the Cavs. He had a nice game and some great assists.
Bradleys issue is that he isnt a bruiser or a shooter. I think if you are as vertically limited as Bradley, you have to be one of those things.
I liked Weatherspoon (Spurs ) in that first game
