idk, I have a hard time believing that a guy who turned down a supermax which is basically the 10+ year max come early to get out of San Antonio will want to now focus on getting to that level.Jalen Rose saying he's 99% sure Kawhi will stay in Toronto on a 2-year deal. The end of that contract would put him at 10 years in the league, making for a richer max contract at that time.
Unless getting out of SA was more important at the time, and now it's back to business.idk, I have a hard time believing that a guy who turned down a supermax which is basically the 10+ year max come early to get out of San Antonio will want to now focus on getting to that level.
Now that Korver got traded to Suns, which are expected to waive him, can we pick him up?
See I think because he's proven that he doesn't care about money over being somewhere where he thinks he's in a good situation that makes him less likely to stay in Toronto. The nice thing for Toronto is that the issue with LA right now is that it's LeBron's city whereas Kawhi owns Toronto and by virtue Canada at the moment.Unless getting out of SA was more important at the time, and now it's back to business.
I like Korver but he is done. I would rather keep an open spot for one of our young guys to develop. Korver coming back as a shooting coach would be awesome.
Neto to Philly.
