What type of candidate can beat Trump?

Did Hillary lose cuz she’s moderate or because there’s a genuine animus toward the clintons?

She failed to energize the party's left wing because she was a moderate, and failed to get some center-right independents becaqse of Clinton animus. She did not lose the election based on any one large factor, but by a thousand paper cuts, where she could have won suffering nine hundred.

And, it helps to have Russia’s intelligence agency hack your opponent’s email server and spread propaganda on social media.

I don't understand why we can't get a candidate who can beat Trump. He's such a disgusting low-life. Are people blind to that, that because of ideology they ignore an individual's character and moral failings, which actually contribute to his depraved Presidential policies. I seriously don't believe the polls. There has to be some sort of rigging going on.

First, They see Trump as "telling it like it is." So the disgusting ideas he promotes is what they consider to be "like it is."

Second, you sound like Trump by assuming the polls are rigged.

Yes. People really are blind.

I don’t think they’re loyal to ideology anymore. I mean, hell, what is Donald’s ideology other than racism? Certainly not free markets and small government, right? I think a lot of his voters merely vote republican because they’ve done it for so long. They don’t understand or care about the issues. His supporters certainly care. But I think the majority of his voters don’t care. They just pull the lever on the R.

Just ask most Utah republican voters. They don’t know more than one or two issues. They just know that republican is right cuz of abortion and that’s it.

There is no poll rigging going on. You seriously go down the rabbit hole on almost everything you post.

Pretty sure Trump’s only ideology is staying in power and thereby avoiding/delaying criminal prosecution. If racism helps him win a second term he is willing to go there, but more than anything about Trump, it just shows where we still are as a country.

Trump absolutely cares about power and avoiding criminal prosecution. I agree.

But I think his racism goes back decades. From being prosecuted for housing discrimination to the Central Park five to birtherism to today’s tweets. He’s a white supremacist. I don’t want to hear people call it “nationalist” anymore as I’ve seen on the news this morning. He’s a white supremacist.

I have voted for more Republican Presidential candidates than Democratic.

Here's my voting history

Dole vs Clinton -- Dole, Republican (military veteran)

Bush vs Gore -- I voted third party, Libertarian

Bush vs Kerry -- Kerry, Democrat (military veteran)

McCain vs Obama -- McCain, Republican (military veteran)

Obama vs Romney -- I voted third party, Libertarian

Clinton vs Trump -- Clinton, Democrat (Trump DQ'd himself in multiple ways)

Hmmm are you not the one that said nasty things to me about my reading comprehension skills? "give me 5 republican views you have posted in this thread." I am a nice guy so I will give you another chance. Oh, by the way McCain is thought of as a democrat in sheep's clothing (Rino) by most republicans.
