If a Jazz player ever went "James Harrison" on us...

Would Jazz management cut his *** or just ignore his embarrasing comments (like how the Steelers are handling it)?

If the player played with the intensity Harrison plays with he is more likely to be forgiven by the fanbase. I would love the "edge and toughness" Harrison brings. However, I doubt the front-office brass would put up with Harrison antics... he's making Mr. World Peace look sane!!!

Off the field the guy is crazy.

Depends who he was calling out. If he threatened David Stern I would be down right giddy.

Well since they are still in a lockout it's not like they can cut or trade him, which is still a possibility.

"On July 13, 2011, a very controversial magazine article titled "James Harrison: Confessions of an NFL Hitman" was published by Paul Solotaroff in Men's Journal.[40] In this article the Steelers linebacker James Harrison was asked multiple questions about who he is and why he plays the game of football the way he does. The controversy comes into play when James Harrison begins talking about the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Harrison called Goodell a "crook and a puppet", and then proceeded to say that "I hate him and will never respect him.” Harrison also made comments towards his quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, and other players in the National Football League such as Brian Cushing. Harrison released an apology for his statements on July 14, 2011.[41] Harrison apologized for his gay slur that was aimed towards Goodell and stated that his comments about his teammates were lost in context."

Also he said If that man(NFL Commish Goodell) was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn't do it....... Yeah.. context is everything with a statement like that.

I freaking hate the Steelers but it's not their fault they are doing nothing to Harrison. There is a lockout in progress and they can't even talk to him, let alone discipline/cut/trade the guy.

I'm interested to see how the Steelers handle Harrison after the lockout ends. IMO it's kinda hard to cut a black guy from speaking his mind after you let your white QB get away with molesting a couple of chicks. I hate to make it a race issue, but you can bet your *** that's exactly what it will turn into if Harrison gets cut.

Thank you.

First of all, the Steelers organization was willing to cut ties with their SB MVP Holmes over pot. Yet the utterly awful evidence against Big Rape was not enough to make a move. There is a huge disparity between what the public believes and what the Steelers organization truly is. They will be happy to cut Harrison. But they won't do anything about Ward. He will be smiling just like always.

One league has guaranteed contracts...

The other doesn't....

so I'm pretty sure the Jazz wouldn't just "cut" someone....

Also, wasn't this question partially answered with the Duron trade?
