Trump caved like a little boy to Pelosi on domestic spending. If Obama had signed that budget the trump walking dead would be shouting socialism from the rooftops.
But don’t worry, it’s only another trillion dollars and our kids will not hate us when they are paying our credit card.

The tea party was a cute thing that was merely code for:
“GET THAT ****** OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE!”
The tea party didn’t actually care about spending or taxes. White conservatives had a freak out when a black man won an election. They couldn’t believe a black man would even have the audacity to become president.
Currently, the tea party is enjoying farm subsidies and trash talking Baltimore. I heard they’re having a “T” burning in front of the White House sometime...

Yeah you know I totally respect your arguments despite our different political perspectives. I do think you sometimes paint with too broad a brush as clearly there were both racists and fiscal conservatives in the TEA party mix.
The fiscal conservative politicians have sold their soul to politically survive trump insanity. Paul Ryan is a total ***** for example.

Enablers like Paul Ryan, Susan Collins, and Jeff flake are worse imo.
They know that what trump is doing is wrong. They know that what his administration is doing is weakening the country. They know what is right but instead, enabled the wrong.
But they did/do nothing because they benefitted financially by not doing what’s right when they had the most power and influence.
They failed our country.
I dislike david Duke. He’s a racist *******.
But I hate paul Ryan, Susan Collins, and Jeff flake. They knew what was right but lacked the dignity and courage to step up when the country needed them the most.

I think there were plenty of actual conservatives in the Tea party movement who were motivated by fiscal concerns.
However, that movement was quickly co-opted by the GOP and Fox News (if it wasn't an astroturf movement to begin with) for their own political purposes. Once in power "tea party" politicians did **** all to actually curb spending.
