What's new

2020 Presidential election

Democrats don't yet have a strong candidate or a clear platform. They're still in shock that Trump is in the White House and still don't know what to do about it. For now, hurling shallow accusations at President Trump is their platform. It's the same strategy they used in 2016. It didn't work then, and it likely isn't enough to work now.
This is true if you ignore everything the candidates say about anything other than Trump. I will grant they don't have a platform that's as easy to nail down as the ever so nebulous "Make America Great Again."

Democrats will never see the White House again if they keep this up. When they're not slinging insults like children they resort to outright denial of reality... Again, like children. It's little wonder they're trying to import their voter base from the 3rd world.

I know I’m just glad that the Republicans never resort to insults and name calling. They consistently maintain the moral high ground. They follow their Dear Leader and he would never do such things.

He is the epitome of maturity.

I appreciate the 5-10 of you that fight back against liberal bull on this site and where ever else you defend truth.

I wouldn't worry too much. The "liberal bull" from the Democrats and the left-leaning media helped to galvanize Republicans and a fair number of independents to come out and vote for Trump. They're spinning their wheels and making fools of themselves along the way.

Tactics like Hillary calling Trump supporters "deplorables," or Rachel Maddow going on and on about how Trump supporters should be ostracized, only served to show that the Democrats had very little real substance to debate with. They spewed all the vitriol they had and still lost. So what else can they do?

The MSM that proclaimed Hillary would win the last election in a landslide (and smugly lobbied for it) lost a lot of credibility, and that credibility hasn't grown back.

No, he is a crass bully. But he's been an effective president so far, which is what people elected him to be.

The democrat playbook...'Lie about everything'!...'Use the freshmen democrats(the squad) to lie for you'!...'Find Rinos who will lie for you'!...'Find world leaders who will lie for you'!...'Find late night talk show hosts that will lie for you'!...'Find newspapers that will lie for you'!...'Use the hollywood has beens and young wannabes to lie for you, they'll do it free for a photo-op'!...'Use the brainwashed university students and their professors to lie for you, because universities no longer teach truth'!...'Use facebook, twitter, google, yahoo, etc. to lie for you, because there's no truth in them, so they do it all for free anyway'!...Just lie always, and make 'the prince of the power of the air' proud of you, o children of disobedience{Ephesians 2:2}.

All Americans are set to vote for open borders. We can’t wait to have our private insurance taken and provide insurance for illegals. Make sure you sign us up for higher taxes too. Socialism? All in. Gun control puts it over the top. Democrats will win in 2020 because everyone wants their great policies. NOT

Conservatives are clear where they stand (and are surprisingly unified) on the economy, illegal immigration, healthcare, abortion, and international trade. That's why they're backing Trump.

These are the real issues Dems will need to debate on. Trump's insensitive tweets, while disappointing, aren't significant enough to deflect from the real issues.
