Who would win in a 7 game series?

  • Total voters
    35
  • Poll closed .
Tell that to every team that had to play team USA. Talent wins games otherwise Malone and Stockton would have chips

Yeah, Barkley and Melo brag about their titles all the time.

Team USA is unique. Our teams have comparable talent like the NBA. International teams couldn't hold a candle in any way.

22-6 so far?

LOL this competition has issues. UB's team's personalities are completely volatile. Embiid and Rasheed? C'mon. Then you have two ball dominant guys in Wade and Wilkins who can't shoot. The other guys can shoot a little, but none are "shooters". Nobody on the bench is a shooter either. He's got a bunch of solid guys and zero specialists.

Our starters would be a good battle and he might actually have a slight edge. However, the bench is an absolute destruction by my team over his. His only advantage is maybe Roy over Sloan, but the other 4 is an absolute buggy whipping.

I thought the point of this thing was to put a team together that could actually win. But like most of Jazzfanz, just another popularity contest...

Rob Roy? Roy Ayers? Legendary Colorado Avalanche goalkeeper Patrick Roy? All of these guys would have made my team better than yours, I agree.

My bad. Ben Gordon. Even worse.

Dude, your team is terrible but I'm not expecting people to be objective, use good judgment, or even read the rotations I put out (especially since my actual real writeup came out after over half the people who voted voted).

It's cool. Your trash compactor of Rasheed and Embiid will get hosed by somebody more popular the next round.

Yawn.

Your team has Baron Davis, Ben Gordon, and Paul Millsap and ZERO top 25 players all time. But yeah, you deserve to win LOL.

Umm, I won’t get dragged down into pettiness here, but if this is indeed a popularity contest (as you have so asserted), have you ever stopped to question why you’re not well liked? We’re just having fun here, my man.

Oh, if I'm not liked, I don't lose sleep. I'm competitive, I argue, I use logic. People hate that guy but I get it. I make some trade ideas and people wet their pants over it for some reason.

You are liked, and rightfully so. You're a good dude.

As for teams, it's pretty damn ridiculous to think that your roster would beat a team that primarily plays Walt Frazier, John Havlicek, Scottie Pippen, Bob Pettit and Bill Russell.

But hey, it's just a game.

Embiid is the best overall center in the league. He’s a dominant big man on both ends. Sheed is like only player ever to have x points, rebounds, blocks, and 3 pointers. I forget the amount for each but he’s the only one. While they have personalities you might not like, they only care(d) about winning.

Logic lmao

The only weird thing about UBs team is that he drafted Ben Gordon.

But he was actually fairly good for a handful of years.

Lopo’s bench could perhaps beat his starters imo. Terrible coaching.

Read the rotations buddy. Read. The. Rotations.

Havlicek was the best player for the Celtics for a portion of his 8 titles. You know where he started? He didn't because he came off the bench.

Bob Pettit is coming off my bench because I didn't know how strong recency bias was. Robert Horry was a 40%+ 3 point shooter and dynamite defender. I chose to bring Pettit off the bench because I didn't know if not having a provable 3 pointer would hurt him in my lineup.

Lmfao. Horry shot over 38% from three ONCE in his entire career and as a power forward averaged just 4.8 rebounds per game.

He did have that x-factor for at least 80 games over three years that made him dangerous. And I wanted to draft someone with my number #10 that no one had drafted before.

He was the first player on the post-Jordan Bulls to bring his team to the postseason, as a rookie no less. And he is still the only rookie to win 6MOY. He made more three-pointers as a Bull than Scottie Pippen, including making 9 consecutive 3s in one game (then an NBA record). However, his overall career was marred by (a terrible turnover record, and) a bizarre personal life.

I think one cool thing about this All-Time Jazzfanz NBA draft is picking a player whose ephemeral lethality people have long forgotten. And of course, again, he’s my #10.
