Thee Jazz Fan:

I look at Tfivas’s lineup and feel like my bigs will have a field day. Points in the paint, offensive rebounds, total rebounds, FT’s, should be lopsided. T’s bigs will expend so much energy on defense that offense will be just a little more difficult than usual. I feel bad for Dirk having to guard the Greek Freak on the perimeter. If TFivas doesn’t double or triple team, Giannis and The dream, both will score big numbers, and when they double down, Lillard, Pistol, Carter, and Drazen will light it up from down town.

Vs Ellis we used a run and gun tactic to neutralize his great defense, there isn’t that here.

In this game, I’ll utilize Giannis Antetokounmpo to run it up Dirk’s ***. With the dream running beside him on every Giannis rebound.

As far as Curry goes, I will not allow Curry to beat me, and TFivas has made it easy for me as Curry is the only Wing that can shoot. I will use Carter and Pistol to double Curry as need be, and switch on all screens involving Curry. Let both Clyde and Hill take the ball inside as against Hakeem who’s influence is every bit as impactful as a Rudy Gobert. Going inside against Hakeem is like committing suicide. Giannis will be sticking on Dirk like white on rice.

Mark may get an open look here and there, but he’s no where near the sniper Dirk or Curry is, and I quite frankly don’t think he deserves to be starting in this kind of a draft, he’s way out classed in this thing.

In recap. My team is a huge mismatch disaster for Tfivas’s team. I’ve got bigs that can guard the perimeter, take it inside and create open threes for my sharp shooters. I’m not a fan of how TFivas built his team. It’s extremely one dimensional. Not much inside threat from the bigs and little to no defense, and the sad thing is both my bigs are athletic and quick and have no problem guarding on the perimeter and both great at help defense. My guards may be weak defenders, but they are backed up by the Freak and the Dream where as T’s wings don’t have that kind of backup supporting them.

This was a really tough one. Toughest one so far for me to decide. Went with tfivas.

@tfivas has the better overall team. Would love watching his entire lineup play together I think they fit together almost perfectly.
He has no defense? I have just as many elite shooters an inside game. I can go inside out, outside in. I have three guys that can initiate the offense, and all kinds of versatility. He’s built his team around three point shooting. He’s going to get killed in the paint, rebounding and probably at the FT line. I’ve got so many options in Pick’n roll. Lillard is an elite pick’n roll pg I can run it with Giannis Antetokounmpo to create some bad mismatches. No one is more skilled than Pistol, the ball is Marianne extension of his limbs, no doubt he wouldn’t be great at Pick’n roll. Then there’s the fact that the dream would destroy Gasol in this.

This one is close. It depends who you choose to build around. Curry or Hakeem. If you are playing by today's rules and you take their best season I choose Curry. He has the greatest shooting season ever.

Curry's best was really good and better than Hakeem's best. Curry's TS% was 10% better than Hakeem's best season on more shots. Advanced stats put Curry's best well ahead.

I think the rest of the other 4 starters are pretty close.

Not to take anything away from Curry, but I think you're underestimating Hakeem. He won MVP, Finals MVP, and DPOY in the same season. He's the only player to ever do so (MJ is the only other player to win all three awards, period).

I agree, he is amazing and a top 10 player.

Steph just had one of the best seasons ever.

That's one of the problems with this all time draft. There current player draft is somewhat defined. This one is ambiguous. What rules are they playing? Is it career, one season, or multiple seasons?

Career wise I'll still take Hakeem. One season is hard to beat Steph's. Steph has about the same TS% as Goberts best season and one of the best ever. I would say Wilt, Jordan, and LeBron are the only players to have a single season better than Steph's. But that's debatable.

Currys best year has to be the best offensive season of all time. Simply unprecedented

Taking nothing away from the GOAT shooter, this is garbage and completely, totally ignores defense.

You can build an offense around Curry, and you can hide him on defense. You can build everything around Hakeem.

I love Thee’s bench. Not crazy about LA but his 1-4 off the bench are awesome.
